NBA Analysis – Skiles’ Disappointing Bucks Host Yao, Inconsistent Rockets
The Houston Rockets (31-20 SU, 23-27-1 ATS, 27-24 O/U) have won three of their last four games in the BetOnline Sportsbook, going a respectable 2-1-1 ATS over the span.
The Milwaukee Bucks (24-29 SU, 29-22-2 ATS, 29-24 O/U) have lost two consecutive games coming into tonight’s contest, failing to cover the spread each time out.
Tonight, the Bucks will look to get back in the win column when they host the Rockets at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
The Rockets dominated the fourth quarter to put away the Minnesota Timberwolves 107-90 on Saturday, covering the spread for BetOnline NBA sports betting backers everywhere as a 7.5-point home favorite while the game’s 197 combined points went UNDER the posted O/U total of 199.5.
All-star center Yao Ming scored a team -high 30 points to go along with six rebounds while veteran point guard Rafer Alston chipped in with 22 points in the win.
The Bucks fell 126-121 to the Detroit Pistons in overtime on Saturday, narrowly failing to cover the spread for BetOnline NBA sports betting members as 4-point underdogs at home while the combined score sailed OVER the posted O/U total of 184.
Blossoming point guard Ramon Sessions dropped a game-high 44 points on the Pistons and forward Charlie Villanueva added 33 points in the loss.
Here is a look at the key betting trends for each team, followed by my in-depth analysis and NFL Free Picks.

NBA Odds:
Houston Rockets -5½ -110
Milwaukee Bucks +5½ -110
Over 195½ -110
Under 195½ -110
Analysis:
If the Milwaukee Bucks can get a 44-point performance and a 33-point performance from two separate players and still manage to lose, then there is no limit to their underachieving ways.
I know the Houston Rockets have failed to find the consistency they’ve searched for all season long – and will undoubtedly need to beast the best in the west – Houston should clearly be able to handle the Bucks tonight despite being on the road.
Take Yao Ming and Co. to get the job done in Milwaukee tonight.
