Analysis: The Chicago White Sox snapped their three-game losing streak by beating the Yankees 2-0 on Monday night to cover the Bet MLB odds as a +184 road underdog.

The Yankees had their three-game winning streak snapped in the loss but look like a good pick to get back in the win column tonight despite the fact that young right-hander Ivan Nova (1-1, 7.37 ERA) has mostly struggled this season.

Gavin Floyd (2-1, 4.00 ERA) looked solid in allowing just two earned runs in six innings in his last start, but he’s also allowed at least four runs on two other occasions.

The White Sox have gone 2-7 against the Bet MLB Odds in their last nine road games against the Yankees and are just 2-5 in Gavin Floyd’s last seven starts overall.

Prediction: While the young Nova has looked lost at times this season, I’m still going to advise BetOnline MLB gamblers to back the Yankees in this contest, mostly because of their prolific offense.

Tonight, I’m expecting another win for the Halos, but not nearly in the convincing margin they pulled off Monday’s win by.

Analysis: The Athletics will give the ball to right-hander Brandon McCarthy (1-1, 2.10 ERA) while the Angels counter with right-hander Tyler Chatwood (1-1, 3.50 ERA).

Both young hurlers have been nearly equally solid this season, which is why I’m like the Angels to win this matchup. Los Angeles is at home in this matchup. Tyler Chatwood has not allowed more than four earned runs in his three starts this season while holding the opposition to two earned runs or less in two of those starts.

The Oakland A’s always seem to produce a boatload of fine young pitchers, but they just don’t have the hitting to compliment them. Too bad A’s … and good news for the Angels and Bet MLB gamblers that like to back the Halos.
