Who’s Hot in Conference USA – NCAAB Betting Poll

1: UTEP Miners (10-5 ATS, 11-8 SU) (3-2 ATS, 2-3 SU in C-USA) (LW: 1) The Miners had a pair of tough outings last week, losing to both UAB and Tulsa. They’ve still gone 6-2-1 ATS in their L/9 and have been a formidable team for sports ncaab betting fans of C-USA basketball this year.

This Week: Away @ Houston, Home vs. Southern Mississippi

2: Central Florida Knights (9-4 ATS, 13-6 SU) (5-0 ATS, 3-2 SU in C-USA) (LW: 2) No team is hotter in C-USA than the Knights. They have rolled off five straight covers to start the conference slate, and remained perfect both SU and ATS at home with easy victories over Southern Miss and Marshall. Can they step up and challenge the Tigers in the conference this year?

This Week: Home vs. SMU, Away @ Tulane

3: Houston Cougars (8-5-1 ATS, 12-5 SU) (3-1 ATS, 3-1 SU in C-USA) (LW: 3) The Cougars nearly pulled off a tremendous win for a down Conference USA by forcing Arizona to overtime in Tucson. The 96-90 OT loss wasn’t even enough to cover the 5.5-point spread, but there was certainly nothing to be ashamed of.

This Week: Home vs. UTEP, Away @ Memphis

4: Memphis Tigers (11-7 ATS, 16-3 SU) (3-2 ATS, 5-0 SU in C-USA) (LW: 4) The Tigers are starting to assert themselves as the force in C-USA. Last week they pummeled Rice 80-52, and then sprung the mild upset in Rocky Top with a 54-52 victory over the Vols. Three of the next four are on the road for Memphis where it’s only 1-3 ATS this season.

This Week: Away @ East Carolina, Home vs. Houston

5: Tulsa Golden Hurricane (7-7 ATS, 13-7 SU) (4-1 ATS, 4-1 SU in C-USA) (LW: 5) A four-game ATS winning streak went by the boards with a 76-75 loss in Tulane last week, but Tulsa responded nicely with a 78-70 upset at UTEP. A two-game home winning streak both SU and ATS is still in play though, but UAB and SMU will hope to end that this week.

This Week: Home vs. UAB, Home vs. SMU

6: SMU Mustangs (5-6 ATS, 6-11 SU) (2-3 ATS, 1-4 SU in C-USA) (LW: 7) The C-USA season has been cruel for SMU so far, as it’s managed just one victory in its first five games. As double-digit dogs this year, the Mustangs are a perfect 3-0 ATS, and they could find themselves in that situation in both spots this week.

This Week: Away @ Central Florida, Away @ Tulsa

7: UAB Blazers (8-11 ATS, 13-7 SU) (1-4 ATS, 3-2 SU in C-USA) (LW: 11) The Blazers are back on track after scoring three victories last week and going a solid 2-1 ATS for their betting backers. Those were three home games, though. So far on the road this conference season, UAB is 0-2 SU and ATS.

This Week: Away @ Tulsa, Away @ Marshall

8: East Carolina Pirates (4-6 ATS, 10-8 SU) (1-3 ATS, 2-3 SU in C-USA) (LW: 9) ECU finally got off the schneid in conference play with an 80-74 upset victory against SMU. The Pirates haven’t covered a spread at home since December 13th, and with the red hot Tigers coming to town, that streak could extend.

This Week: Home vs. Memphis, Away @ Rice
