Who’s Hot and Who’s Not? NBA Betting Breakdown Highlights Streaking ATS Teams

December 9, 2010

Only three NBA games are on tap for Thursday night, but this NBA betting breakdown will help avid BetOnline roundball gamblers everywhere make more winning wagers than ever, not only on Friday night’s full slate of NBA contests, but nearly every NBA game that takes place this weekend.

With that said, let’s get busy.

Hot – These teams have all managed to cash in against the online NBA betting odds in four of their last five games.

Philadelphia 6-0 ATS

Thanks to the unheralded Jodie Meeks and athletic forward Thaddeus Young, Philly is on a red-hot roll, having gone 4-1 SU over their last five games – and an even more impressive 6-0 ATS over their L/6 games overall.

Miami 5-0 ATS

While II hating writing it, I have to tell NBA betting buffs that the Heat have won six straight games while posting a perfect 5-0 ATS mark over their L/5 games.

Houston 4-1 ATS

No Yao? No problem! The Rockets have won three of four and five of seven overall while going 40 ATS over the last four games heading into Friday night.

Memphis 4-1 ATS

The Grizz aren’t playing very well despite snapping its four-game SU losing streak by beating Phoenix on Wednesday night. The good news for NBA betting enthusiasts that like the Grizzlies is the fact that Memphis has gone 3-0 ATS over its last three games and 5-1 ATS over its L/6 games overall.

Three more ballclubs have managed to go 4-1 ATS over the last five games, including Boston, New York and the L.A. Clippers.

Not – These ballclubs have failed to cover the online NBA Betting odds in at least four of their last five games.

Ca “leave’ land 1-4 ATS

Maybe if they take the ‘leave’ out of Cleveland, some athletes will actually want to stay in their city. Then again, six straight losses – and a 1-5 ATS mark over the span, makes me want to write Ca “leave” land over and over again. Talk about laughing out loud!

Oklahoma City 1-4 ATS

The Thunder have alternated wins and losses over their L/5 games – and managed to snap a four-game ATS losing streak the last time out, beating the lowly T-Wolves to cash in against the NBA betting line.

Denver 1-4 ATS

The Nuggets have lost two straight heading into Friday night while failing to cash in against the NBA betting line in four straight. Thanks Carmelo, now you’ve got the entire team playing like the quitter you are – except Chauncey ‘Mr. Big Shot’ Billups that is.

LA Lakers 1-4 ATS

Despite winning their last three games, the Lakers have failed to cash in against the spread in two straight while going just 1-7 ATS over their L/8 Games. Can you say, ‘no three-peat?’

Chicago 1-4 ATS

See what Carlos Santana .. I mean, Boozer, can do for your team? The Bulls have won three straight games heading into Friday night. Unfortunately, they’ve also gone just 1-4 ATS for NBA basketball betting brethren over their L/5 games.

Three other ballclubs have gone 1-4 against the NBA betting line over their last five games, including Milwaukee, New Jersey and Detroit.
