Houston Rockets EVEN over INDAINA PACERS
Indiana is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against Houston, but I don’t like the mojo that the Pacers are showing right now. Beating the spread is one thing, but there’s no spread here. So you go to the straight up record, right? That’s the smart thing to do right?
Houston is 6-1 SU in their last 7 games and Indiana is 2-5 SU in their last 7. So that makes sense? Can it be that easy. Yes. Yes we can!
DETROIT PISTONS -4 over Dallas Mavericks
Iverson! Kidd! It’s 1998! Oh wait, it’s 2008. Yeesh. No offense to either of these fine hall of fame worthy gentlemen, but watching Iverson and Kidd key off each other is like watching my Dad get in a fight with the dad in the neighboring house when his dog poops on our lawn. I love it when old people bicker!
Detroit’s defense is the deal here. The Pistons allow only 92.7 points per game, and the Mavericks shrink in to a shell of themselves when they play on the road. On the road, Dallas is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 away from Texas and just 1-5 SU. Not the most reliable bet, especially when Detroit is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 against the Mavericks.
ATLANTA HAWKS -4 over Milwaukee Bucks
Ok I’m lost. I’m going to admit it. Sometimes when you don’t have it, you just have to admit it. And with these two teams I don’t have it. The Hawks are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games and Horford is still out with a bruised knee. But Bibby beat the Bulls and left me questioning my manhood and my own credibility.
And now the Bucks are here and the oddsmakers are apparently sick to the stomach by getting screwed over. The line has come down on the Bucks and now they’re 3-5-1 ATS in the last 9 contests and the Hawks are better than I thought they would be. Bet the OVER as this becomes a shootout between two teams with young guns ready to roll.
NEW YORK KNICKS -5.5 over Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies don’t have a coach, or a win against the NBA betting line in the past two weeks. And they’re just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games. The Knicks showed against Phoenix that coaching matters, and D’Antoni has revolutionized the losing culture in New York. They’re 4-2 ATS in the last 6 games, so at least the degenerates can rest easy with one of the top-5 offenses at home.
CHICAGO BULLS -3 over Toronto Raptors
Derrick Rose bloomed when Ukic tried to stop him last time. The Raptors suck and coaching is the problem. Letting go of Sam Mitchell was a huge mistake, mostly because Toronto didn’t have a proper replacement. The Raptors are managing a -2.8 point differential on the season, and don’t have the athletes to cover Derrick Rose, who can take over this game with ease.
Chicago is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games at home, and Toronto is 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games. With a tight line on this game, take the Bulls to push the OVER mostly because Toronto can’t play defense.
