Feb. 15th– NBA Games

Miami Heat (39-15) at Indiana Pacers (24-28)

Where:  Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana

When:  7:00 pm EST

NBA Odds:  Under 206 ½

Analysis:  The trends actually give Indiana a big shot to cover the NBA odds in the sports book versus the Heat on Tuesday night.  The Pacers are 5 and 1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.  They’re also 4 and 1 ATS in their last 5 games at home.  Then again, some trends favor the Heat in this matchup.  Miami is 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 games playing on a day of rest.  They’re 4 and 1 ATS in their last 5 road games.  Conflicting trends lead me to believe that betting under the total is the way to go on Feb. 15th.  Over trends are hot save for a couple.  The under is 5 and 2 ATS in the last 7 Miami games versus a team with a losing straight up record.  The under is 7 and 2 in the last 9 Indiana home games versus a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600.  Those are a couple of powerful trends.  I’m going under.

Philadelphia 76’ers (26-28) at Memphis Grizzlies (30-26)

Where:  FedExForum, Memphis, Tennessee

When:  8:00 pm EST

NBA Odds:  Philadelphia +3 ½

Analysis:  Both of these teams are super hot.  Philly is 6 and 1 ATS in their last 7 road games and 9 and 2 ATS in their last 11 games versus a team with a winning straight up record.   The Grizzlies are 7 and 3 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 5 and 1 against the spread in their last 6 games as a favorite of ½ to 4 ½ points.  Neither team has an edge in terms of personnel meaning that the best thing to do in regards to this contest is to take the points.  That means a bet on Philly to cover ATS is the way to go in this contest.

Charlotte Bobcats (24-31) at Chicago Bulls (36-16)

Where:  United Center, Chicago, Illinois

When:  8:00 pm EST

NBA Odds:  Charlotte +9 ½

Analysis:  I’m in no way in love with the Charlotte Bobcats but they’re getting close to 10 points from the Chicago Bulls in the online sports betting book in this matchup.  Charlotte could seriously bounce off of their stunning 109 to 89 victory over the L.A. Lakers on Monday night.  But, I can’t wager on a bounce given the amount of points that Chicago is offering.  The Bobcats are 10 and 2 against the spread in their last 12 road games.  They’ve gone 4 and 1 ATS in the last 5 meetings versus the Bulls in Chicago.  They get the benefit of the doubt in this game.
