The Nets and Clippers aren’t exactly two of the trendiest teams in the NBA right now, but there are a few things that you have to recognize here before making your NBA picks on this game. First off, the home team is 13-3 ATS in the L/16 meetings in this rivalry. Heck, even the woeful Nets that couldn’t beat their way out of a paper sack last year took down the Clip Joint. Secondly, the favorite is 11-5 ATS in the L/16 clashes as well.

Now take a look at the matchup. Neither one of these teams really has "it" right now, as the two have only combined for four wins on the season. Both are staying relatively competitive in recent games, as New Jersey’s L/2 losses have come by a combined three points, while LA’s L/5 losses have resulted in two OT defeats and two relatively close calls.

We have to go with the hosts in this one, though. Jersey coming to the West Coast is just a very scary proposition, and with a point spread this low, our NBA picks are obvious.

Orlando has had no luck of late being successful basketball betting picks, as it is just 4-2 SU and 0-6 ATS in its L/6 overall, including a narrow 91-90 escape against the New Jersey Nets up in the Garden State on Saturday.

The Magic know that this is the time to start to shine though, and their recent woes in their new arena, including outright losses as hefty favorites to the Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors need to be rectified.

The Grizz are significantly better than most tend to give them credit for, but coming out to Orlando for a one game roadie and then having to turn back around on Tuesday night and go home to face Portland is an awful scheduling spot, and we don’t know why the schedule makers did this to them.

In the end, it’s time for Orlando to crack down and get rid of this coverless streak. Make your NBA picks on the Magic tonight.
