All aboard!!! That’s right peeps, it’s now time to jump on the Magic train as they finally look to be in cahoots with one another after taking some time to gel earlier last week.
Though Orlando dropped each of its first three NBA odds match-ups with its retooled roster, they’re 123-101 spanking of the San Antonio Spurs on last Thursday night’s TNT broadcast seems to have been the springboard towards some solid play.
Since then, they’ve ended the Boston Celtics 14-game winning streak and followed it up with a carefree 104-88 pounding of the Nets in New Jersey last night.
Though Dwight Howard and company stand just 1-7 ATS playing on no rest this NBA odds season, that was with the old team and not the new. This new version of the Magic look to be enjoying themselves immensely, and a very much so down Cavaliers squad isn’t going to be the team to ruin the party.
Orlando covered its most recent two against the Cavs with LBJ still in the fold, and they already covered a 10.5-point spread at the “Q” just over a month ago. Cleveland has had a rough go at it against the Southeast Division covering in just two of the L/11 instances; look for more of the same tonight.
SLAM THE MAGIC!
Milwaukee Bucks @ Chicago Bulls
Game Date/Time: Tuesday, December 28th, 7:00 ET
Game Location: United Center, Chicago, IL
TV/Radio Broadcast: FOX – Wisconsin, Comcast (Chicago), XM
NBA Betting Odds
Milwaukee Bucks (+9.5) -110
Chicago Bulls (-9.5) -110
Over/Under 179.5
After picking up a pair of impressive road win and NBA odds covers while undermanned at the Lakers and Kings, the Bucks returned home and got slaughtered out of the Christmas break by an Atlanta team that had dropped a tough one in New Orleans the night before.
Though Milwaukee is without the services of former Bulls Drew Gooden as well as scoring sensation Brandon Jennings, head coach Scott Skiles has done a decent job with this club as its splits its L/10 games (5-4-1 ATS).
Chicago has played a ton of basketball of late with this Central division tussle being the team’s third game played in the last four days. It was just taken to overtime by the Detroit pistons its last time out, and will no doubt be running in fumes in this spot.
I love the facelift Tom Thibodeau has given this franchise, but they’ll be up against it in this spot against a Bucks squad looking to turn the page on a woeful effort from last night. Milwaukee is 4-3 ATS playing on no days rest this season, and they’ve easily covered their last two trips to the UC winning outright (79-74) as 5.5-point pups their last visit and only losing by two (83-81) as 8.5-point NBA odds underdogs before that.
