Tuesday MLB Betting Picks – Seattle To Bounce Back After Losing To Oakland

While the pitching in Oakland continues to carry the team, the bats at the plate are waffling worse than John Kerry. Lacking run support has been the dark cloud hanging over the heads of the Oakland Athletics, but there’s a silver lining on this MLB betting underdog as they face Felix Hernandez. While Ben Sheets has struggled in recent week, the A’s are showing some resilience at the plate. It helps matters that Hernandez is slumping.

After a glowing start to the season, Hernandez has been getting torn apart. The Mariners went 4-0 SU in his last four starts, with Hernandez earning two of those wins. In the past four games, however, the Mariners have lost four straight games with Hernandez at the mound and now the guy backing up Cliff Lee is just 2-3 SU in seven starts with a 3.88 ERA.

It hasn’t helped that Seattle has gone 1-5 SU in their past 6 games and are 1-5 SU in their past road games. Oakland, meanwhile, remains stern at home with a 5-1 SU streak at home and now they’re a comfortable 6-1 SU in their past 7 games when hosting the Mariners.
