Tigers vs. White Sox MLB Betting – Galarraga Back on the Mound

Following up on MLB’s only 28-out perfect game will be tough for Armando Galarraga, and the eyes of the baseball and MLB betting worlds will be upon him for his return to the mound tomorrow night in Chicago against the White Sox.

MLB betting fans know that Galarraga is a very unpredictable pitcher, but he is currently on an incredible hot streak.

Meanwhile, the Chicago White Sox have been just as unpredictable for baseball betting fans, but they have a history of doing well in Chicago against the Tigers in recent years.

It’s not that often that one team coming into the game with a much better record than the other while also sending a pitcher that just essentially threw a perfect game to the mound ends up being the betting underdog, but that’s exactly the case in tonight’s game between the White Sox and Tigers.

Armando Galarraga is a fairly talented pitcher but not the type of overwhelming star pitcher that typically throws a perfect game or a no-hitter.

Galarraga is excellent with the sinker when he gets it going, however, making him a boom-or-bust type of pitcher for MLB fans to keep an eye on.

As for the White Sox, their own RH starter for the night in Gavin Floyd is seemingly one of the more befuddling pitchers for Tigers hitters to face in the American League Central.

He is a little more consistent than Galarraga but also capable of getting into a groove and shutting teams down.

Pitching at home against a Tigers team that has been cold at the plate lately and just cut its starting shortstop, Adam Everett, for a not-so-talented replacement in Danny Worth, Floyd could have an excellent day.

The pitching matchup should favor Chicago even taking Galarraga’s historic performance into account, and the home field advantage offered by U.S. Cellular field also should make MLB betting and baseball betting fans confident in a White Sox victory.

Baseball betting fans haven’t done well picking Chicago this year but this game has a White Sox win written all over it.
