Thursday Night College Football: Georgia Tech vs Miami Florida

All eyes are on Florida this Thursday as the five point favorites Miami Florida Hurricanes (#20) host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (#14) at 7:30 PM ET, at Dolphin Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets learned a hard lesson last week after blowing a 24 point lead against the Tigers before Scott Blair kicked a 36-yard field goal with 57 seconds remaining to seal the win 30-27.

On the flip side the Hurricanes scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Seminoles 38-34. QB Jacory Harris completed 21 of 34 passes for two touchdowns but also threw two interceptions.

Sadly all college football betting fans have only this game for Thursday night.

I like the Yellow Jackets in this matchup because Miami has lost four straight against Georgia Tech, matching its longest skid in the series.

Last season Georgia Tech crushed Miami on the ground in a 41-23 victory. The Hurricanes should be more familiar with Georgia Tech’s triple threat attack but it won’t be enough. Take the points and bet on the Yellow Jackets.
