Don’t let ASU’s record fool you. They lost to Wisconsin and Oregon State by 4 points total, and lost to what could be your national champion Oregon 42-31.

The Huskies are coming off that alleged upset (not really) against the unnecessary Trojans. Jake finally had a great game coming from behind and passing for over 300 and rushing for over 100. Maybe this guy is Heisman material. Heehee.

The Huskies aren’t very good defensively against the pass, but they are filthy bottom on the rush defense they pretend to have. That doesn’t bode well against an ASU team clicking their offensive cylinders.

Jake is going to have a HUGE game for Washington to have a chance at a win. The fact that they are favored in the Sports Book can only be for home team and ASU’s turnover factor.

ASU has converted a bottom feeder 18 of 26 Red Zone opportunities into points. That’s pathetic for a school like this. Only two thirds of those converted to points were touchdowns. They’re not a RUN only offense like Navy who has similar stats. That’s just unacceptable.

Quarterback Steven Threet is a bomber completing 112 of 185 for 1,431 yards and 9 touchdowns so far. He does, however, also have 10 completions to opposing defenses known as interceptions. The kid’s a junior so he kind of needs to get it or go Heavy D.

I think Dennis Erickson is taking an extreme gunslinger, Karate Kid type of attitude with everything with Threet. He had 7 interceptions the last 2 games, but there is no chance of changing or doing anything really. I think those real games are his training ground.

ASU is averaging 469 yards of offense, so something is clicking. The Sun Devils do have a stud freshman running back tearing it up. Deantre Lewis is banging out 100 yard games, so they’re developing some balance now.

Their worst stat is ranking 117th in turnover margin, and a Sports Book doesn’t really want you to follow turnover margin-big correlation for winners. C’mon Devils, no wonder you can’t win. I keep thinking this team is going to break through but now I know why.

Jake Locker should have an up day against this pass defense. Jake is looking a lot better than he did when I watched them play the Cornhuskers. This game is going to have a LOT of scoring. WHOA, the total went from 62 to 59, so lots of money going down on the under.

This is going to be a great game to watch with buddies or in a Sports Book or anywhere there is energy. This game is going to have a lot of scoring peeps.
