Saturday NBA Predictions – Struggling Heat and Kings, Rebuilding T-Wolves, All in Action

November 28, 2010

BetOnline pro basketball bettors that are looking to cash in on some free NBA Picks on Saturday’s nearly full slate of NBA action are in luck as I break down four pro hoops matchups that are all offering a bunch of value in the BetOnline Basketball Sportsbook.

Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat will be looking to overcome their recent struggles when they hit the road to take on Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks while Michael Beasley and the rebuilding Minnesota Timberwolves look to snap their own three-game losing streak despite their mostly competitive performances.

With a bunch of college and pro football taking place this weekend, I’ll be as brief as possible for devoted BetOnline betting buffs that will be wagering on multiple sporting events this weekend.

Golden State at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET

Analysis: The Warriors had dropped four straight heading into their Friday night road date at Memphis looking to snap their four-game SU and five-game ATS losing streak while the T-Wolves will be looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking 113-109 overtime home loss to San Antonio.

Prediction: Despite the fact that they are allowing more points per game than the Warriors, the T-Wolves average more points per contest than Golden State and should be able to win this game handily with the Warriors playing this one as the second half of back-to-back games.

NBA Predictions: Timberwolves 111 Warriors 105

Miami at Dallas 8:30 PM ET

Analysis: The Heat host the lowly Sixers on Friday night where they will assuredly get a win against an absolutely pitiful Philly ballclub, but they’ll be facing a well-rested Dallas team that has won three straight games, including its 111-103 win over Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

Prediction: I’m not a real big fan of the Mavericks, but I like them to pick up the narrow win in this contest as they step up their effort (like everyone else) in order to make a statement against the hated Miami Heat.

If nothing else, the Mavs can score the ball and should be able to take down a Miami team that is still trying to find its new identity.

NBA Predictions: Mavericks 97 Heat 94

Chicago at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET

Analysis: The Bulls will be playing this game as the second half of back-to-back games while the Kings will be looking to bounce back from their dismal 100-82 road loss to the Clippers on Thanksgiving Day.

Chicago has gone 6-2 SU and 5-3-1 ATS over its last eight games and has been getting some absolutely jaw-dropping performances from point guard Derrick Rose recently.

Sacramento is really struggling this season after looking like one of the best up-and-coming young teams in the league last season.

Prediction: I like the Chicago Bulls to pull off the road win here over a Sacramento Kings team that is averaging just a shade over 94 points per game while getting outscored by almost six points per contest.

The Kings are just 2-6 SU a home this season and I say Chicago drops them to 2-7 in this matchup.

NBA Predictions: Bulls 102 Kings 96
