Mariners Aces – Seattle at Los Angeles
Bedard, Mariners To Take Down Angels, Loux Tonight
The Seattle Mariners (10-6 SU, 11-5 RL, 8-8 O/U) and Los Angeles Angels (6-9 SU, 6-9 RL, 9-5-1 O/U) will both be looking to record consecutive victories when they square off at Angel Stadium tonight at 10 PM ET in a battle of division rivals.
The Mariners narrowly defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 on Thursday as a -110 pick’em while the final score played well Under the 7.5-run O/U total.
The Angels are coming off a convincing 10-5 win over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday as +120 underdogs while the 15 combined runs played well Over the posted over/under total (9.5).
The Mariners will turn to left-hander Erik Bedard (1-1, 1.86 ERA) in this contest while the Angels counter with right-hander Shane Loux (0-1, 3.65 ERA).
Bedard was solid I his last start, allowing only two runs – one earned – in six innings while striking out eight, in a 2-0 loss to Detroit.
While he’s still looking for his first win of the season, Loux has been solid in two starts and allowed three earned runs over seven innings in a 3-1 loss to Minnesota on Sunday.
Here is a look at tonight’s key MLB betting trends, followed by my in-depth analysis and MLB Free Pick.

NBA Playoff Parlay – Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers
The Orlando Magic (60-24 SU, 49-34-1 ATS, 37-47 O/U) and Philadelphia 76ers (42-42 SU, 38-44-2 ATS, 40-40-4 O/U) will both be gunning for a victory in the BetUS Sportsbook when they square off at the Wachovia Center in the third game of their first-round playoff series tonight at 8 PM ET.
The Magic evened the series at one game apiece by beating Philadelphia 96-87 in Game 2 on Wednesday, though they failed to cover the spread as 10.5-point home favorites just like I predicted in the BetUS Locker Room that day.
Rookie shooting guard Courtney Lee led six Orlando players in double figure scoring with a team-high 24 while all-star center Dwight Howard added a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

NFL 2009 Draft Report – Percy Harvin Smokes Weed?
Ever since Ross Rebagliati, the Canadian snowboarder who won the Winter Games first Olympic gold medal in snowboarding, was caught red handed smoking weed and got to keep his medal, I’ve taken a very soft stance in terms of drugs that can be considered “performance reducing”. Sure it’s irresponsible, and some may say it’s reprehensible, but it certainly doesn’t help in any way.

Premier League Betting – Bolton Wanderers vs. Aston Villa
Bolton Wanderers are above the relegation zone but they are still not safe with 37 points. Six-points separate them from third-from-bottom Middlesbrough, which is a comfortable gap, but their fans would breathe so much easier if they had 40 points in the bag. A few more points would assuage all their fears.
The vast majority of football experts insist Bolton are a safe bet to secure another season in the Premier League but a run of just one victory in their last six leaves them still off the mark.

Manchester United will try to widen the gap in the Premier League table at the expense of a visiting Tottenham Hostpurs.
