NBA: Bucks March On Without Bogut, Face Philly as Road Favorites
The Milwaukee Bucks have secured a playoff spot and, until recently, would have been a nice dark horse pick in the Eastern Conference to upset a team or two. The Bucks could have played the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers or even the Orlando Magic, with center Dwight Howard, tough.

UFC 112 Odds – Edgar Doesn’t Have Much Shot Against B.J. Penn on Saturday Night
The UFC sportsbook is currently offering odds on the Lightweight Championship fight between Frank Edgar and champion B.J. Penn. If you like Penn, though, you’re going to have to swallow seriously low odds as B.J. is a -700 favorite to beat Frank Edgar on Saturday night.
How should B.J. do? Exceptionally well. Frank Edgar just doesn’t have the experience or skills to hang with a fighter like B.J.
Edgar Comes in Low at UFC 112 Weigh-ins Against Penn
UFC 112: Invincible is almost here as preparations are underway in Abu Dhabi, UAE for one of the biggest fight cards of the year.
The first UFC title fight of the night features UFC betting underdog Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn in a lightweight clash that could be defined by which fighter is more physical on fight night.
Penn has worked hard to put on extra muscle mass and explosive power with renowned trainer Marv Marinovich, and he has apparently done it the right way as Penn came into the UFC 112 weigh-ins at 155 pounds, right at the weight limit.
While Penn could have gotten by weighing in at 156 pounds, being at 155 going into the Edgar fight is right where needs to be and Penn fights have to be pleased with the weigh-in results.
As for Edgar, the betting underdog going in, the weigh-in results at UFC 112 are potentially a bit worrisome for his fans.
Edgar weighed in at 154 pounds in Abu Dhabi, which is interesting considering that most lightweight fighters weigh in at 155 or 156 pounds for their fights, especially in important contests like Saturday’s title fight.
Edgar’s best hope according to many fans going into the fight was to out-wrestle Penn and to use his strength and leverage to overpower him.
Perhaps Edgar felt he needed to improve his quickness and speed going into this fight to give himself the best chance of winning as a +475 underdog to Penn, who comes into UFC 112 as the favorite with odds of -750.

UFC 112 Weigh-ins – Should you bet on Gracie or Hughes
The Gracie family is one of the first families of mixed martial arts and the most popular family when it comes to Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but for the longest time, you could never mistake any of the Gracies for body builders.
The Gracies preferred to stay trim and slender as they sought to show off the effectiveness of their signature martial art more than anything else when it came to MMA competition.
But Renzo Gracie actually has a little more meat on his bones than the famous first Gracie, Royce, and he showed it off today at the UFC 112 weigh-ins.
Gracie came in a bit over the typical welterweight limit, but he’ll need all of that bulk and then some in his battle with opponent and former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes at their UFC 112 bout on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Gracie weighed in at 171 pounds, which works out because UFC fighters are allowed to be one pound over the limit of the agreed weight.
Hughes, the wrestling master and one of the best UFC fighters of all-time at the welterweight level, came in at 170 pounds, signifying his workmanlike, no-nonsense style.
It will be a battle of jiu-jitsu vs.

Baseball Series of the Week – Yankees vs Rays
The Tampa Bay Rays will take no chances in the first game of a three-game series against the New York Yankees at Tropicana Field this weekend. As we preview this series matchup for baseball betting fans, it is important to note that the probable starting pitcher for the Rays will be none other than David Price, the south paw who was the number one pick of the 2007 Draft and put forth a solid effort in his rookie season in 2009 for Tampa Bay.
