Orlando Learning What the NBA Finals is About – Game 2 Pick

To say the Lakers schooled the Magic in Game 1 is an understatement. Los Angeles won by 25-points in a 100-75 drubbing of the Magic, who were handled candidly by the stalwart defense of the Lakers. But the Magic defense was unable to contain a vindictive Kobe, who has waited a long year to get another shot at the NBA Title. If his 40-point performance didn’t tell you what L.A. is capable of with Kobe feeling the heat, then I don’t know what will.

It’s been a tired criticism of the Magic that if they’re not shooting well, they’re going to lose. The big six of the Magic shot 27-percent from the field and that’s not going to get it done against an efficient team like the Lakers. Stealing a game in L.A. is priority one for the Magic. For their betting investors, they’re just hoping they can cover a similar spread from Game 1 after getting demolished on both ends to open the series.

They’re not going to fade in to the horizon after accomplishing so much as the Eastern Conference Champions.

Bet on them to steal one as their perimeter shooting gets hot, and stays hot, in Game 2.
