Online Sports Book Advice – North Carolina at Florida State
March 2, 2011
This Tar Heels and Seminoles matchup seems to be one of those few Online Sports Book Lines that seems to be off enough for a solid start on your hump day cash flow.
North Carolina has a chance to win the ACC, but they need to get by a hungry and productive Florida State team first. UNC also plays Duke this week, and the Blue Devils will have their own input on the Conference final games.
#13 North Carolina (22-6) at Florida State (20-8) Wednesday March 1 at 7:00 ET ESPN-TV
Donald L. Tucker Center (14,000) – Tallahassee, Florida
Online Sports Book Line:
North Carolina (14-11 ATS) -1.5
Florida State (11-10 ATS) +1.5
The issue I am concerned about with the Tar Heels is that they play Duke just 3 days after this game, and it could end up being for the ACC Championship.
Florida State is attempting to take out every ACC opponent they have faced at home for the first time ever. They are 7-0 at home against their division enemies, but this one is going to be like trying to extract your Heel from Carolina Tar.

The Seminoles have been consistently solid the last three years in the ACC achieving 20 wins including 10 in the ACC every year. The only other team in the ACC (not even North Carolina) to achieve this feat is of course Duke.
The absence of Chris Singleton for Florida State in this game will hurt them immensely on defense. They need him to win this game, and he’s not here. That should bring up a light bulb in your head on which team to fire on against the Online Sports Book Line.
The Tar Heels have slipped a little bit near the end of this NCAA Basketball season. They have a shooting percentage over 40% only once in their last 5 games played. This game should easily be over 40%, so all you 40 plus year olds should drink a 40 of Colt 40 Five watching it!
Injuries are never a good thing especially at NCAA Tournament time, but sometimes they are a bit overblown. One of North Carolina’s reserve players, Reggie Bullock, has been lost for the season. It’s not a good thing, but c’mon people he was averaging 14.5 minutes a game.
In his last seven games, Bullock is only 10% from 3 point range going 2 for 20 and 6 for 37 in field goals. The Tar Heels will be just fine without him.
One thing you know is that UNC will beat you on the boards. They’re the top NCAA team in the nation averaging 42.9 rebounds a game. It sounds like your Online Sports Book buddies at Bet US are trying to give you money on this one it’s so easy.
The Seminoles were dominated last time by Roy’s rebounders 89-69 on the scoreboard. The Tar Heels should’ve thought more about the game they had the following week when they lost to Duke 79-73.
Well, UNC has bounded for 5 straight victories since that loss and it’s highly unlikely they won’t make it to 6 due to a 10% shooting 14.5 minute playing chair warmer named after Sandra not playing.
