Phoenix Suns (28-27) at Indiana Pacers (26-30)

Where: Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana

When: 12:00 pm EST

Fair NBA Betting Odds: Phoenix +2 ½

Analysis: I’m tempted to wager over the NBA betting total as well. See? I read your mind. The Suns average 105.1 points per game. Indiana averages 99.8 points per game but loves to shoot the 3-point ball. So, over the total does appear to be in jeopardy in this contest, but what’s the total going to be? 219? 222? 224 ½?

I’m more inclined to ride the Suns in this game because I believe that they go off as the slight dogs in the sports book. These two squads have similar straight up records. The Suns have the better team, however, and they definitely have the better second unit. I have to take Phoenix to cover the spread in their game versus Indiana on Sunday and, yes, I’ll back the Suns even if they go off as the favorite.

Philadelphia 76’ers (28-29) at Cleveland Cavaliers (10-47)

Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio

When: 5:00 pm EST

Fair NBA Betting Odds: Philadelphia -10 ½

Analysis: Philly’s been super hot in the online sports betting book lately. The 76’ers are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games. They’re 19-10-1 ATS on the road this season. I have no idea what the betting line is going to be on this game now that Cleveland, who is 10-16-1 ATS at home this season, has unloaded Mo Williams.

The Cavs are as bad as they were before they went on that streak where they miraculously won 2 out of 3. They figure to drop a game versus the Knicks on Friday night and then to get spanked by the 76’ers on Sunday. Perhaps, the Sixers will only be 10 ½ to 11 ½ point favorites on February 27th, allowing me to dump on Philly.

Charlotte Bobcats (25-32) at Orlando Magic (36-22)

Where: Amway Center, Orlando, Florida

When: 10:30 pm EST

Fair NBA Betting Odds: Orlando -10 ½

Analysis: The Bobcats were playing well, but MJ decided to gut the team. Now, it’s Stephen Jackson and the Slopcats. I’m pretty sure that Charlotte is going to get their asses handed to them by the Magic even though Orlando is only 15 and 15 ATS at home. The problem for Charlotte in this game is that they just don’t matchup well with the Magic.

Orlando likes to play a defensive game and take pot shot three-pointers in order to break it open. Charlotte is a truly defensive team, without a real rebounder now that Gerald Wallace is a Portland Trailblazer, meaning that the Magic should roll on Sunday.
