Online Basketball Betting – Back the ‘Baker’s Dozen’ Kansas Jayhawks To Throttle Aggies

March 2, 2011

College hoops online basketball betting doesn’t get much easier than it will when the second-ranked Kansas Jayhawks take to the court at Allen Fieldhouse tonight at 9:00 PM ET for their Big 12 matchup against the 22nd-ranked Texas A&M Aggies.

That’s right, BetOnline collegiate roundball bettors, after reeling off four ATS wins in my last five Big 12 picks, I can see the outcome of this contest coming from a mile away!

Here’s the scoop on tonight’s matchup.

No. 22 Texas A&M at No. 2 Kansas 9:00 PM ET

Phog Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS

TV: ESPN2

NCAAB Odds

Kansas -13

Key Trends

• Aggies are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a road underdog of 13.0 or greater.

• Aggies are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog.

• Jayhawks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite.

• Jayhawks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite of 13.0 or greater.

• Jayhawks are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as a favorite.

Texas A&M 411

Texas A&M (22-6 SU, 10-9-1 ATS, 7-12-1 O/U) has a really nice SU record – and a national ranking – but I’m not impressed! The Aggies had their five-game SU winning streak snapped in its 58-51 loss to Baylor on Saturday while failing to cover the online basketball betting odds as a 3-point road dog to fall to a dismal 3-6 ATS over its last nine games.

Kansas 411

Kansas (27-2 SU, 15-12 ATS, 18-9 O/U) has won three straight and nine of its last 10 games overall, including its 82-70 beat-down of Oklahoma on Saturday. The Jayhawks failed to cover the college hoops online basketball betting odds as a 14-point road favorite to snap its modest two-game ATS winning streak.

Prediction: The second-ranked Jayhawks can clinch a share of the regular-season Big 12 championship by beating the Aggies tonight – and after laying the smackdown on them in five straight meetings, I just don’t think the Jayhawks are going to have any problems winning this game or covering the college hoops online basketball betting odds over a Texas A&M team that I genuinely feel should not be ranked in the Top 25.

Since getting routed by Kansas State in a Valentine’s Day Big 12 battle that I correctly picked in the BetOnline basketball news section, the Jayhawks have been absolutely incendiary basketball sportsbook bettors.

Kansas has scored at least 82 points in each of their last three games while not allowing more than 70 points in any f the trio of contests.

Texas A&M is just 5-4 SU over its last nine games but has not scored more than 73 points in any contest during the span.

Kansas plays at No. 22 Missouri on Saturday and knows it can not afford a slip-up in this contest, which is why I like them to cover the online basketball betting odds in this March Mayhem matchup.

The Jayhawks have won five straight over Texas A&M, including their 79-66 home win on March 12 of last year. Kansas has recorded three of those wins by at least 13 points and has won nine of the L/10 meetings overall.

Kansas twins stars Marcus and Markieff Morris put up a combined 42 points wand 19 rebounds against Oklahoma on Saturday and Texas A&M can’t beat a ranked team on the road as they’ve dropped nine straight such contests dating back to 2007.

NCAAB Pick: Kansas Jayhawks -13 Points
