NFL Spread Betting for Week 15 – Washington at Dallas
December 18, 2010
The NFC betting East looked like the strongest division in the NFL at he start of the year, but the NFL spread betting matchup between Washington and Dallas illustrates just what went wrong.
Both teams have had disappointing seasons to say the least, especially the Cowboys, who were thought to be Super Bowl contenders but ended up near the bottom of the NFC after Tony Romo went down and morale dropped.

Washington, the NFL spread betting underdog in this one, has had a similarly disappointing season of course and has been rocked by internal strife involving Albert Haynesworth and Donovan McNabb.
Can the Redskins get a win over the Cowboys in a game being played essentially for pride?

NFL spread betting line: Cowboys favored at -6.
The Cowboys could see Marion Barber return in this one which would help their goal line offense.
That could be a big difference in a game that could come down to whether or not the Cowboys can punctuate their possessions with TD’s as opposed to field goals.
Jon Kitna can rack up the yards but he is mistake-prone and Dallas needs to cash in on their red zone opportunities or this one will end up being too close for comfort down the stretch.
The NFL spread betting underdog Redskins are 3-3 SU and against the spread as well on the road this year so they know how to at least compete under the veteran leadership of McNabb.
Meanwhile the Cowboys are just 1-6 SU at home according to the betting trends, and they are just 3-4 ATS as well.
But they have gone over the total points every single time at home according to the NFL spread betting trends as well.
The Cowboys will need to get a pass rush in this one because the Cowboys have had issues defending the pass.
McNabb is poised for one last big game this year and this could be it as Washington will keep pace in this one and at least keep it close.
NFL spread betting pick: Washington (+6).
