Baltimore Ravens -2½

The Baltimore Ravens went to the New Meadowlands and knocked of the Jets on Monday night. Sunday they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincy. The Bengals didn’t look ready against the Patriots as Tom Brady and Wes Welker dominated there secondary; Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin will look to do the same. Flacco beat supposedly the best secondary for 248 yards with Boldin gaining 110 receiving yards. The Bengals secondary isn’t on the same level as the Jets and the Ravens will take advantage.

Tennessee Titans -5

The Steelers defense dominated the Atlanta Falcons last weekend, but they’ll have a much tougher time against the Titans super star Chris Johnson. The Steelers offense didn’t break through against the Falcons until late in the game but with Johnson running around, the Steelers will need to open up to keep pace with Tennessee. This will be a hard-hitting back and forth game but the offenses will find the house often enough to go over the total of 37 points.

New England Patriots -3

This line opened at -1½ at in the NFL sportsbook, but early action has moved it to -3 favoring the Patriots. The trends on this game go against the Week One dog’s success. They indicate that a home team of -3 to +3 will lose against the spread after losing a September home game. Also looking at what Flacco and Boldin did to the Jets, Brady, Moss and Welker should have a very good day. Bet against the Jets.

Atlanta Falcons -6½

We all know about the Cardinals quarterback situation, and it’s not getting any better this week against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons held strong against the Steelers for most of the game. While the Cards offense is in trouble, the defense is solid; they returned most of their team from last year short of Karlos Dansby.
