Any time you come off a loss to Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts, you hope for an offense in trouble like Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears – that’s just the situation for the Washington Redskins in Week 7.

While the Bears only have two losses, they sure know how to lose in spectacular fashion. Both losses have been marked by defensive implosions, numerous sacks on the quarterback and limited scoring. I’m going to go out on a thick limb and say they are the weakest 4-2 team in the league.

Last week against the Seahawks, the Bears tallied only 50 yards on the ground (only 11 for Forte) and gave up 3 sacks in the 3rd quarter alone. If not for a 4th quarter Devin Hester 89-yard punt return, the game would have looked a lot worse than it was.

Washington on the other hand has 4 INTs, 13.0 sacks and 7 fumble recoveries. Donovan McNabb has lead them to the 9th best passing offense in the league – not exactly world-beating numbers, but it should be enough against the Bears.

Chicago had a let-down game at home last week, and look for them to do it again. They’ve struggled offensively and will continue to do so against the ‘Skins. Despite being at Soldier field, the Bears won’t hold an advantage in this game.

With the offensive line crumbling around Jay Cutler, watch for more sacks, a crushed running game and limited offensive output.

While Washington lacks some offensive skill players, this game should stay well under the posted 40 point total. Chris Cooley has been officially cleared to play, so he could provide an offensive spark along with the emerging RB Ryan Torain. Regardless, they should put up more points than the struggling Bears offense.
