NFL Sports Book – Giants to End McNabb’s Streak
December 5, 2010
NFL Sports Book lines take into account past performances between opponents as a criteria usually. This situation is different because McNabb has history with the Giants but not as QB with Washington.
This also presents playoff possibilities, and teams cannot afford to lose any games they can help at this point.

The Giants are used to battling Donovan McNabb over the years, but this will be the first time they have him leading the Washington Redskins against them.
McNabb has torn into New York and NFL Sports Book Lines pretty well over the years. This is worth noting, because he is still very familiar with their defensive sets and the players he has been going against for years.
He is 11-4 playing against New York with the Eagles. He has 25 touchdowns and 6 interceptions versus the Giants in his career. He won the last four times he faced the Giants, but the Redskins have lost the last 4 contests against the Giants.
The Redskins have been less than grand this season under McNabb, but a lot of that has to do with the injury problems they’re having at running back.
The team shows flashes of brilliance this year also with wins over Philadelphia, Green Bay, Chicago and Tennessee. They also have lost to the Lions, Vikings and Rams.
The Giants need to win this game to stay tied with the Eagles, Donovan’s old team, who beat the Texans on Thursday Night Football and covered the NFL Sports Book Line of Philly -8.
Eli Manning is trying to salvage what he can with a couple major injuries hurting his receiving crew. Hakeem Nicks was on a terror rising to third in receptions and touchdown receptions when he got a 3-week setback on his lower right leg.
Steve Smith has been out a few weeks and is close to returning.
Watch for the Giants to exploit that sketchy pass protection Donovan McNabb has to deal with. The Redskins have given up 31 sacks this season, and I’m expecting more from New York.
Osi Umenyiora is licking his chops thinking about sacking Donovan in his new colors. Umenyiora had 6 sacks in a single game against McNabb and the Eagles in 2007. I bet he’ll be happy with half that number.
The Redskins hold the distinction of ranking dead last in the NFL defensively. They are the only team allowing more than 400 yards to opposing offenses on average every week.
NFL Sports Book Advice – Bet Giants -7 over the Redskins.
