NFL Sports Book – Colts vs Patriots in Familiar Rivalry

When you talk about the Colts and Pats, you immediately start to think of the quarterback comparison. Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts has completed 64.2% of his passes for 2663 yards and 16 touchdowns, with just four interceptions. he has been sacked twelve times. Tom Brady of the Pats is completing passes at a 64.5% rate with 2176 yards and 17 TD’s, and he has also been intercepted four times. Brady has suffered 13 sacks.
Brady has had to reshuffle in his wide receiver corps, as Randy Moss was traded. Wes Welker has caught 52 passes, which is a little behind his pace of the last two seasons, but Deion Branch has come aboard and caught 23 passes. Brandon Tate is a deep threat that is developing for New England; Danny Woodhead is a versatile who has lined up as a wideout and a running back, and in a pleasant surprise to many NFL sports book players, Brady has gotten a lot of his rookie tight ends. Aaron Hernandez has caught 34 passes already, and Rob Gronkowski scored three touchdowns against Pittsburgh last week.
Manning has had banged-up receivers all season, but his main target on the outside, Reggie Wayne, has stayed healthy, and has pulled in 63 passes, which puts on a pace for 112 receptions this season. Pierre Garcon is back in the lineup, and that is good news for NFL sports book bettors who have been backing the Colts. So is the fact that Austin Collie, who has been sitting out with a concussion, should be ready to go, not to mention Blair White, a rookie who is now listed as probable. The big blow was the loss of Dallas Clark, who is probably Manning’s favorite guy to throw to. Anthony Gonzalez is also gone for the year. Joseph Addai has missed action as well, but he could be ready to go.
The bottom line is that both Manning and Brady are masters at the art of improvising when dealing with new personnel, although we’ve got to rate Manning a slight edge in that department.

if you look at this game, you’ll see that New England Patriots does indeed have some little edges.. They should be able to do more with their running game. They have the better defense, when it comes to defending the run. They are the home team. . They appear to be a little healthier. Yet the Colts might find themselves with more hands on deck than they’ve had in a while, and Manning has actually even turned journeyman Jacob Tamme into somebody useful at his tight end spot.
We have seen too many cliff-hangers with these teams through the years not to know that when it comes to evaluation in the NFL sports book, either team can win. When you have a situation like that, you may want to take any6 points that are available. We remember last year’s game, when Bill Belichick took that fourth-down gamble. He did it because that’s how much he feared having to deal with Manning down the stretch. Maybe Indianapolis isn’t as deep at the receiver spot, but Manning can still come up with numbers against this defense and is very dangerous as an underdog. We’re taking the points with the Colts, who are getting four points in the NFL sports book.
