It’s been a tumultuous season in Washington, as on the field the Redskins have been commendable, but off it, everything that can go wrong has. There’s been player bickering, and personnel changes that have left this locker room in upheaval. It took a different swing when quarterback Donovan McNabb was benched in favor of his backup, Rex Grossman.

To Grossman’s credit though he was actually commendable in last weekend’s 33-30 loss to Dallas. In that game, the former Chicago signal-caller played his best game of the season, throwing for 322 yards and four touchdowns. However, as has always been the case with Grossman, he also threw two costly interceptions. Simply put, if he can’t keep the turnovers down, the Redskins can’t win this game.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars are coming off their own NFL Sports Betting disaster last Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis. Had the Jaguars won that game, they would’ve taken completely control of the AFC South, but instead now need a minor miracle to overtake the Colts.

That miracle will start Sunday with a win over Washington. And truthfully, don’t be surprised if that happens.

The Jaguars enter this game with one of the top rushing games in all the NFL, a unit that’s averaging 150 yards per game. Back Maurice Jones-Drew leads this team with 1,346 yards rushing, and is coming off an impressive streak in which he’s had six games of 100 or more yards rushing out seven. And in the passing game, veteran quarterback David Garrard continues to impress. He’s thrown for over 2,400 yards and 22 touchdowns, and is coming off a 294 yard performance last Sunday against Dallas.

And with the balance that this offense has shown the past several weeks, it seems more and more likely that they should be your NFL Sports Betting pick. Especially going up against a porous Washington defense that is literally the league’s worst. The Redskins are giving up an NFL high 397 yards a game, including an embarrassing 263 per game through the air.

In the end, this Washington team has lost its focus, and seems to have lost their interest in playing anymore for Shanahan.

The only NFL Sports Betting pick to make is on Jacksonville.

NFL Sports Betting Pick: Jacksonville -7
