While we’re not sure, it is looking more and more likely that Favre’s days with the Vikings, and in the NFL could be numbered. He’s coming off another disappointing Sunday, and for all intents and purposes, the clock appears to be ticking on his career. The Vikings lost in Chicago 27-13 a week ago, to fall to 3-6 on the year.

And with the bad, came the worse, as Favre once again struggled, completing just 18 of 31 passes for one touchdown, and three interceptions. It was just another awful game in a season full of them, as Favre has now thrown 10 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 2010, while completing just 62 percent of his passes. This certainly isn’t what the Vikings or Favre bargained for when the old quarterback decided to come back for one more year.

On the opposite side of the NFL Sports Betting odds are the Green Bay Packers, who are riding high, winning their last three games, and going 3-0 against the spread in that time. And as much as Favre has struggled at quarterback, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers is coming into his own. Rodgers is coming off maybe the best game of his season, as he completed 27 of 34 passes, for 289 yards and three touchdowns against Dallas two weeks ago, before Green Bay went into their bye week. He has thrown five touchdowns and just two interceptions in the Packers three game winning streak.

And really for all the talk about Rodgers, what’s been the difference in this Green Bay team the last few weeks is the running game. While the Packers still rank 20th in the NFL (114 yards per game), they had one of their best outputs against Dallas, as they rushed for 138 yards as a team. Fullback John Kuhn had was tough, with 50 yards on the ground.

In the end, the running game and Rodgers add up to one thing Sunday: A comfortable Green Bay NFL Sports Betting win.

Look, we could break down the facts and figures on Minnesota, but just watching is reason enough to think that they’ve quit on coach Brad Childress and this season. They’ve got no momentum, and even returning to the Metrodome isn’t the normal boost it should be. The Vikings are just 2-2 against the spread at home this year, and nearly lost to a lousy Arizona Cardinals team two weeks ago.

More importantly, over the course of the season, Favre has shown to be exactly what he is: A 41-year-old quarterback. He just isn’t making the plays he used to, and at this point, he’s hurting his team more than helping.

There’s only one NFL Sports Betting pick to make on Sunday afternoon, and that’s the Green Bay Packers, giving a touchdown. Get your wager in today!
