NFL Reporter Ines Sainz is Smokin’ Hot – But A Bit Nuts Too
September 14, 2010
Now, let me begin by saying that, as a media member that has covered all sorts of professional sports events for nearly two decades, I was completely on the side of the female television reporter, (now identified as Ines Sainz), who brought allegation complaints of sexual improprieties against New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan and some of his players this week.
Having said that, let me also add in the fact that I firmly believe that no female reporter should be subjected to sexual innuendos or comments while on the job, either in the locker room, on the field or both.

Unfortunately, after having seen some provocative pictures of Sainz in action (um, interview action fellas) I have to say that the outfits the attractive Sainz wore during some of her interviews are more becoming of a swimsuit model than an NFL reporter.
Now, today, Sainz comes out on national television saying that ‘I’m not trying to provoke anybody. It’s my style for all my life. I’m not going to change. They’re going to change.”
Guess what NFL lovers? I believe Sainz is a bit of a nutso head case looking for the attention that she is now getting.

Let me explain why I have had to turn my back on one of my fellow media members and I use that term here loosely.
First and foremost, the “It’s my style all my life and I’m not going to change” comments make Sainz look like a complete and total idiot more befitting the mindset of a rebellious teenage girl than a 32-year-old “professional”.
My first thoughts about her comments were, ‘So this woman dresses the same way she did at 15, 20, and 25-years of age that she does now and isn’t going to change at all.’
How many of you, both male ad female, can admit that you dress the same way at 30 as you did at 25 or 20-years-old?
Okay, I know most of us can’t even begin to think about getting into our clothes from that age, but you know what I mean.
In the very first photo I saw of Sainz, the blonde-haired reporter is seen wearing a completely unprofessional (but damn hot) outfit that features a top that is cut so low, I almost jumped through my computer screen for a free feel.
In another photo, she’s measuring Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Steve Breaston’s bicep during the team’s media day for Super Bowl XLIII in 2009.

Why would she even take such a measurement and what male reporter goes around during Super Bowl preparations asking to measure some player’s biceps?
In another photo, Sainz is wearing a pair of light blue-grey jeans that are so tight, that I could have sworn they were painted on.
The bottom line for me is that Sainz is completely and utterly unprofessional in her dress – and the responses she’s likely gotten (whether right or wrong) are probably right along the lines of what she is wearing.
And apparently, I’m not the only one that feels this way.
A brief look at some online message boards elicited these responses, with most, coming from women, including one from a 70-year-old.
“Why is she a reporter?? Professional my foot. What type of criticism would school teachers, doctors, nurses, postal workers, cashiers, dentists, daycare workers, etc receive if they dressed like her. they wouldn’t have a job” Sjohnson – 70
“If you go into a NFL locker room dressed like that, in front of half naked testosterone overloaded Jocks, you are inviting interaction. To pretend otherwise is B.S. To then claim harrassment is also.” B.S. gloops
“Miss Sainz should test the professional look of her attire by walking past a few construction sites. If she gets no hoots, howls, whistles or vulgar suggestions than that outfit is definitely professional and can be worn into a locker room.” Vg 196
“Stadiums and other sports facilities might want to consider a dress code for every ‘professional’ person they let into the building”. doctrphil
Any woman worth their weight in salt has probably told their daughters at some point in their young lives that ‘If you dress like a hooker, then guys will think you are one and treat you that way”.
Unfortunately, that message seems to have never gotten to Ines Sainz’s ears.
Last but not least, in this day and age, where perverts and pedophiles are lurking around every corner, Sainz is sending out the message to young girls everywhere that, no matter what you wear, you should be treated like a professional.
I agree, but some outfits are more befitting of a professional media member than an actual professional.
