NFL Preseason Week 4 – Bet These Final Preseason Games
September 10, 2011

The Preseason NFL point spread favorite blood-fest keeps moving, killing and squaring up. I can say all of you are in for a HUGE year if the favorites keep spanking the dogs at these kinds of numbers.
In Reality, we all know it is just a matter of time before Underdog puts on his cape and evens the score. Until then, let’s ride it out.
Week 4 Final Preseason Plays:
Indianapolis Coltsat Cincinnati Bengals – Thursday, September 1 at 7:00 ET – NFL-TV
Indianapolis Colts – (+3.5)
Cincinnati Bengals-(-3.5)
Over/Under Total – (35)
We know one thing in this game, and that is that Peyton Manning will not play. That’s not news to anybody, but the real news will be if the powerhouse Bengals can score.
I have been advising my Fantasy football readers to take NOBODY from Cincinnati, so maybe somebody sparks enough interest here to take them in the late rounds as a longshot.
It should be entertaining to watch Santa Claus Kerry Collins waddle around trying to act like he’s earning that Million for the opening game he probably won’t even start. Anyway, I don’t think the Colts want to give away anything here, and I think the Bengals want to salvage their regular season by beating the Colts in the Preseason without Manning. Make Sense? Exactly.
Bet Bengals -3.5 over Colts
Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals – Thursday, September 1 at 10:00 ET – NFL-TV
Denver Broncos- (+3)
Arizona Cardinals – (-3)
Over/Under Total – (40)
This is actually a great game to watch and wager on in my opinion which is usually right. It’s a game full of players that shouldn’t be in the NFL which even makes it funnier.
Denver has an interesting set of players that may or may not pan out. Now that Tim Tebow has dropped to 3rd string on the depth chart, I think it’s Quinn-tissential he whips some butt to send Brady back to the Bunch at 3rd string.
Arizona is one of the teams I am HIGH on compared to last year simply because of an adequate quarterback behind center. Look for them to beat down on the Mile High boys and feel HOT HOT HOT (had to have a 100 degree reference) entering the regular season.
Bet Cardinals -3 over Broncos
Oakland Raiders at Seattle Seahawks – Friday, September 2 at 10:30 ET – NFL-TV
Oakland Raiders – (+3.5)
Seattle Seahawks – (-3.5)
Over/Under Total – (37.5)
I would have to call this game Scrubalicious. Don’t laugh at this closing game to your final Preseason week. There are some players and potential here that many of the fringe NFL lovers won’t come close to recognizing.
Tarvaris Jackson does not look confident, and this may be the week Charlie Whitehurst takes the job being the lesser of 2 evils. Many of the Seahawk’s receivers missed practice this week, but Jackson won’t notice.
The most interesting part of this game may be on the bench for this one. Zach Miller just got $17 Milly guaranteed for five years which is half of his total contract. He, of course, just came from the Raiders where last year he showed some spurts of brilliance and that was plenty for Seattle to pounce.
McFadden won’t be McRunning in this game, but it won’t McMatter against the McSeachickens (hmmm could be a new menu item). The Preseason closes out with an UNDERDOG taking it home thus proving regular season is upon us.
Bet Raiders +3.5 over Seahawks
