NFL Predictions – Buccaneers Look To Avoid Upset Against Panthers in Divisional Showdown
November 14, 2010
If you’re looking for some potentially payday-producing NFL predictions to help boost the annual pro football betting bankroll, then you’ll love my in-depth breakdown on Sunday’s Week 10 matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay is clearly the better team coming into this contest and beat Carolina earlier this season, but the blossoming Buccaneers will have to be on guard against getting upset by their NFC South division rivals when they take to the field at Raymond James Stadium at 1:00 PM ET.
BetOnline.com’s resident loudmouth Damon D gives you a full Sports Betting rundown. Including NFL Picks, Free Money and who will win in the Pacquiao – Margarito fight.

Carolina (1-7 SU, 2-6 ATS, 2-6 O/U)
The Panthers have dropped two straight games and didn’t look good at all in its 34-3 loss to the Saints in Week 9. Carolina has failed to cover the NFL predictions odds in two straight games and is ranked dead last in passing – and scoring – averaging a pitiful 11.0 points per game.

Tampa Bay (5-3 SU, 5-3 ATS, 4-4 O/U)
The Buccaneers are coming off a heartbreaking 27-21 loss to Atlanta in Week 9 that they nearly pulled out in the fourth quarter.
The Bucs easily covered the spread as a 10-point road underdog NFL predictions pick to cash in for BetOnline pro football betting backers for the second straight contest.
Prediction: I guess it’s no wonder that 80 percent of the BetOnline pro football betting community like the Bucs to cash in against the spread in this one, seeing as how Tampa Bay laid a 20-7 beating on the Panthers in their Week 2 matchup earlier this season.
Despite having their modest two-game winning streak snapped the last time out, I don’t think the Bucs are hanging their heads or anything and realize the golden opportunity they have right now as they move into the second half of their regular season schedule with a surprising 4-4 SU record.
The Favorite in this series has gone 5-1 ATS in the last half-dozen meetings and really, these two teams are miles apart now as they head in totally opposite directions.
Not only do the Buccaneers have arguably the best young quarterback in the game in Josh Freeman, but they’ve gotten some unexpected, fantastic contributions from gifted rookie running back LeGarrette Blount who is averaging a stellar 4.8 yards per carry with his ‘whirling dervish’ style of running.
Thanks to their young back, the Bucs are now a much more balanced team offensively and are the easy NFL Predictions pick here to take down the reeling Panthers and take another step toward what they hope will be a shocking postseason berth.
