NFL Playoff Teaser Picks

The playoff matchups have been set for wildcard weekend, the odds makers have sharpened their lines and we’re going to give you our NFL betting playoff teaser picks for the wildcard weekend.

We’ll include a pick from each of the wildcard weekend games and tease either the spread or total by 6 points in our four selection NFL Teaser Picks.

New Orleans Saints -10½

Game Total 44

Seattle Seahawks +10½

I like the Seahawks to cover this game at 10½ points but I love them to keep it within 16½ points if we tease the line 6 points. The Saints aren’t the same world-beaters that they were last season. Pete Carroll will have his team up for this game, they won’t be up enough to win but they’ll keep the game within the teased spread or better.

New York Jets +2½

Game Total 44½

Indianapolis Colts -2½

This Colts team reminds me a little of their 2006 Super Bowl team, they have a maligned run defense that suddenly tightens up later in the season. Peyton Manning is getting production from unsuspected sources. The Jets defense is solid and the offense runs hot and cold. I’m teasing the total from 44½ to 50½ as while I think these teams will score enough to challenge the total, they won’t blow it out of the water.

Baltimore Ravens -3

Game Total 40½

Kansas City Chiefs +3

The Chiefs offense is solid, while they’ve never played a team of the Raven’s caliber this season, they should be able to move the ball and find the end zone at home. The Raven’s defense is hurting, the Chiefs will score more than expected. The Ravens offense can put numbers on the board, they’ve been held to under 20 points in only 6 of 16 sports betting games this season. I’m teasing the 40½ total down to 34½.

Green Bay Packers +3

Game Total 46

Philadelphia Eagles -3

The Packers defense is holding opponents to just 15 points a game, even the Eagles top flight offense will struggle to find the end zone this weekend. The Eagles offense can explode for a ton of points but as we saw against the Bears and even the Vikings, they are susceptible to a team blitzing from the outside. I like the under 46 but just to be safe, we’ll tease the total to 52 points.
