NFL Playoff Schedule Betting
January 4, 2011
With the regular season in the books, the NFL playoff Schedule is all set and it all kicks off on Saturday, January 8th when the 11-5 New Orleans Saints visit the 7-9 Seattle Seahawks.
It’s the first time there has been a team that has made the playoffs with less than a .500 record and they are taking on the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Saints come in as 10 ½ point favourites, and that number isn’t scaring anyone away as 70% of people are taking them to cover the two score spread.

Next up on the 2011 NFL Playoff Schedule is what figures to be a much tighter contest as the New York Jets travel to Indianapolis to take on Peyton Manning and the Colts.
Indy clinched the division on a last second field goal but despite a rocky season, I don’t know anyone that would want to play Peyton in the playoffs. The Jets compiled an 11-5 record, actually a game better than the Colts, but people are still taking Indy to cover the 2 ½ point spread.

The NFL Playoff Schedule for the Wild Card round also has two games on Sunday, the first being the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Kansas City Chiefs from Arrow Head stadium.
The Ravens had one of the better records in the league at 12-4 but just like the first two games, the team that won the division gets home field advantage. The Ravens are a three point favourite to walk into KC and take out the Chiefs, and 94% of people are taking them to cover the NFL spread.

The last game on the Wild Card NFL Playoff Schedule is the Green Bay Packers taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. Green Bay had to fight tooth and nail to get into the post season, getting in on a Week 17 win over the Chicago Bears, while Philly had their post season locked up a few weeks ago.
The Eagles lost their last two games of the regular season, but Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys doesn’t say too much about this team as they rested starters in preparation for the first round of the playoffs. Still, Green Bay comes in with the momentum and will give the Eagles all they can handle in what is likely to be a high scoring, back and forth affair.
