January 21, 2011
Not quite sure who’ll win this Sunday’s AFC and NFC Championship Games? Well no need to worry, as you can still wager on some NFL Playoff Prop Bets!
Here are a few can’t miss winners from this Sunday’s NFC Championship Game between the Bears and the Packers.
Aaron Rodgers- Over 23 Completions (-115) or Under 23 Completions (-115): He’s been the breakout star of these playoffs, and has thrown his name into the discussion as one of the elite signal-callers in all of the NFL. Can Aaron Rodgers lead the Packers to another win, and more importantly, can he lead you to an NFL Playoff Prop Bets win by completing at least 24 passes?

Honestly, we’re not so sure. It’s nothing against Rodgers, especially the way he’s playing. The Green Bay quarterback was phenomenal last weekend, completing 31 of 36 passes, for an absurd 86 percent completion percentage.
But don’t get wrapped up in the recency of that game, because it was just two weeks ago against Philadelphia that he completed just 18 passes. More importantly, he completed just 19 the week before that.
Therefore, when it comes to this NFL Playoff Prop Bet, we’re going to have to go under. Yes Rodgers was great last weekend, but just average in the two weeks before that. Don’t let one game rope you into the wrong NFL wager.
NFL Playoff Prop Bet: Aaron Rodgers UNDER 23 Completions
Jay Cutler- Over 1 ½ Touchdown Passes (-110) or Under 1 ½ Touchdown Passes (-130): Heading over to the other sideline and to another NFL Playoff Prop Bet, what kind of game should we expect from Chicago’s Jay Cutler?
The Bears signal-caller was excellent last weekend, throwing for two touchdowns, in a dominating win over Seattle. Of course the game before that he was miserable, throwing for no touchdowns and two interceptions against these same Green Bay Packers in Week 17.
So which Cutler will show up this weekend? We’ve got to go with the interception prone, touchdown immune one.
It’s nothing personal, but the truth is, the Seattle secondary he played against last Sunday was one of the league’s worst, while Green Bay’s is one of the league’s best. With Charles Woodson and Tramon Williams lining up opposite his receivers, Cutler is going to have trouble completing any passes at all, let alone for touchdowns. Once again, take the UNDER in this NFL Playoff Prop Bet!
NFL Playoffs Prop Bet: Jay Cutler UNDER 1 ½ Touchdowns
Matt Forte- Over 70 ½ Yards Rushing (-115) or Under 70 ½ Yards Rushing (-115): At first glance, this NFL Playoff Prop Bet reeks of the under. After all, we mentioned Green Bay has one of the best defenses in the league, allowing just 309 yards and 15 points per game, both of which rank in the Top 5 in the league.
However, upon closer inspection, take a second look at that run game. On the year, Green Bay was completely and totally average against the run, allowing 114 yards on the ground per game. Forte himself rushed for 91 yards alone in the Bears Week 17 loss.
Which is why we’ve got to take the OVER here. We’re not Chicago will win this game, but they will be able to run the ball. That’s news to the ears of anyone who takes Forte in the NFL Playoff Prop Bets.
