In this article, I will quickly analyze each player’s chances before offering up my one-of-a-kind analysis and expert NFL playoff betting pick on the signal caller that I believe will walk away with this weekend’s unofficial ‘No Passing Fancy’ passing yards title.

Aaron Rodgers +175

There’s a strong chance Aaron Rodgers will do very well against Atlanta’s pass defense and this NFL playoff betting props wager as the Falcons ranked just 22nd against the pass by allowing a whopping 226.6 yards per game through the air. Nevertheless, gridiron gamblers should know that Rodgers was kind of mediocre on the road this season, throwing just nine TD passes and five picks away from the comforts of Lambeau Field while compiling a quarterback rating of just 89.3 as opposed to the 19 TD passes and 112.7 rating he posted at home.

Ben Roethlisberger +700

In Pittsburgh’s 13-10 Week 13 win over Baltimore, Roethlisberger completed 22 of 38 passes for 253 yards with one touchdown, one interception – and a mediocre 75.9 quarterback rating. Fortunately for Big Ben, Baltimore ranked just 21st against the pass this season, allowing 224.9 passing yards per game.

Jay Cutler +500

Jay Cutler looks like a good pick in this NFL playoff betting props wager as the strong-armed signal-caller will face a Seattle defense that ranked a dismal 27th against the pass during the regular season by allowing a whopping 249.6 passing yards per game. In Chicago’s 23-20 loss to Seattle in Week 6, Cutler completed just 17 of 39 attempts, but managed to rack up 290 passing yards in the loss.

Joe Flacco +800

The Steelers finished 12th against the passes by limiting opposing quarterbacks to just 214.1 passing yards per game – almost an identical number to what they’ve held Joe Flacco to in his career (214.0). However, this season, Flacco passed for 256 yards in Baltimore 17-14 Week 4 win and 266 yards in Baltimore’s Week 13 loss to their AFC North division rivals.

Mark Sanchez +1500

In four career starts against the Pats, Mark Sanchez has been uninspiring at best in completing just 56.6 percent of his passes for just 170.8 yards per game. Sanchez has thrown five career TDs against New England – and seven interceptions.

Matt Hasselbeck +450

In five career starts against the Bears, Matt Hasselbeck has led Seattle to a 4-1 SU mark while completing 61.6 percent of his passes for an average of 198.0 yards per game. In 15 career postseason starts, the veteran signal-caller has gone 10-5 while passing for an average of 248.3 yards per game. Hasselbeck completed 25 of 40 passes for 242 yards against the Bears in Seattle’s 23-20 Week 6 win.

Matt Ryan +450

In two career starts against the Packers, Matt Ryan has completed a blistering 74.1 percent of his passes against the Pack, but has averaged just 195.5 passing yards per game against his conference rivals. The cerebral signal-caller is 2-0 against the Packers, but will be going up against the fifth-best pass defense in the league this season.

Tom Brady +175

First and foremost, Tom Brady is 13-5 in 18 career starts against the Jets. The bad news for gridiron gamblers that like Brady in this matchup is the fact that Brady has thrown for just 218.9 yards per game against New York in his career.

Overall Analysis: I’m going to get right to the pints with my NFL playoff betting selection on this intriguing props odds wager by saying that Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cuter and Matt Hasselbeck are my top three picks in this passing yards odds NFL Playoff betting selection.

In the case of both, Rodgers and Cutler, they will be facing undoubtedly mediocre pass defenses and should be able to mostly have their way through the air while Matt Hasselbeck will likely be forced to throw the ball a bunch with Chicago likely shutting down Seattle’s rushing attack.

In the end, I’m going to back Aaron Rodgers to narrowly beat out my No. 2 pick Jay Cutler – and third selection, Matt Hasselbeck, with my NFL playoff betting pick to throw for the most yards on NFL divisional weekend.

Rodgers has the advantage of playing in a domed stadium while Cutler and Hasselbeck will both be playing in frigid conditions of Chicago’s Soldier Field.

Green Bay will probably be forced to throw the ball a bit more than they did in beating Philly in its Wild Card weekend matchup as Atlanta ranks 10th against the run by allowing just 105.9 yards per game on the ground.

In the end, I’m backing the gifted Aaron Rodgers, followed by Jay Cutler, Matt Hasselbeck and last but not least, Matt Ryan.

Rodgers has thrown for more passing yards during the regular season f any quarterback remaining in the playoffs and I believe he will get the job done again for BetOnline NFL playoff betting enthusiasts everywhere.
