NFL Picks Week 15 – Saints, Jags, Raiders Best Bets

December 15, 2010

It’s time to unveil some of my best NFL Picks Week 15 predictions.

Save for the Saints covering, Week 14 was a disaster. The Raiders had the lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second half of that game before their defense practically imploded and Seattle wasn’t even close versus the 49’ers.

I like both Oakland and Jacksonville this Sunday while New Orleans figures to capitalize versus a tired Baltimore Ravens defense. Baltimore played an overtime game versus the Houston Texans this past Monday night.

Let’s see what my peers are thinking!

Jacksonville Jaguars +4 ½ vs. Indianapolis Colts – 43%
New Orleans Saints +2 ½ vs. Baltimore Ravens – 70%
Oakland Raiders -6 ½ vs. Denver Broncos – 77%

Let’s try and make a profit!

NFL Picks Week 15

All Games on Dec. 19th

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 pm EST
New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens at 1:00 pm EST
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders at 4:15 pm EST

Jacksonville Jaguars +4 ½ vs. Indianapolis Colts - - The Jaguars make it onto my NFL picks Week 15 list because of their ability to cover the spread versus the Indianapolis Colts. The Jaguars have gone 5 and 1 against the spread in the last 6 meetings between these two teams in Indianapolis.

That’s pretty good. What’s also good for Jacksonville is the fact that the Colts give up 141.1 yards per game on the ground and that their top running back, Maurice Jones-Drew, has rushed for 100 yards in 6 straight games.

Jones-Drew is the hottest RB in the league right now. Yes, Peyton and Co. should punish a Jaguars’ secondary that gives up 258.3 passing yards per game, but in a tight one, I’ll go with the squad getting points and that has the better rushing attack.

New Orleans Saints +2 ½ vs. Baltimore Ravens – - This NFL betting line makes me laugh. The Saints are an easy addition to my NFL picks Week 15 list after watching the Ravens’ D huff and puff their way up and down the Reliant Stadium field in Baltimore’s lucky 34 to 28 overtime victory versus Houston this past Monday night.

After only 6 days of rest, that Ravens’ D takes on a Saints offense that is averaging 386 total yards and 25.4 points per game. The Saints’ D is also ranked 6th in the NFL and New Orleans is riding a 6 game winning streak. The tired Ravens won’t know what hit them after the second quarter of this game. Jump on the moneyline if the sportsbook offers one, my friends.

Oakland Raiders -6 ½ vs. Denver Broncos - – How could I possibly keep the Oakland Raiders off of my NFL picks Week 15 list after seeing that they face the Denver Broncos on Sunday? The Raiders beat the Broncos 59 to 14 in Week 7 by rushing for 328 yards.

What’s gong to change in this game? Nothing. The Broncos’ rush defense hasn’t gotten much better. Denver gave up 211 yards on the ground to the Arizona Cardinals last week and the Cardinals average only 89.7 yards per game on the ground.

RB Darren McFadden is going to go nuts versus Denver on Sunday. I expect over 200 total yards and up to 3 touchdowns from the former Arkansas product.
