Carolina at Cleveland, 1 pm Sunday:

The Browns have shown they can play with the NFL’s best such as the Patriots and Jets, but can they blow a bad team out?

They don’t quite have the firepower to do it against most teams, but an exception can be made for the NFL picks week 12 underdog Panthers because of how badly they’re injured and how little confidence they have going into this game.

Pick: Cleveland 27, Carolina 17

Green Bay at Atlanta, 1 pm Sunday (-2 ½):

The Packers were dominant against Minnesota, a talented team and a rival, on the road last week.

But the performance may have overvalued them in this game on the road against what might be the top team in the NFC.

It’ll be close but this is a statement game for the Falcons.

Pick: Atlanta (-2 ½)

Tennessee at Houston, 1 pm Sunday:

The Texans are in shock from last week’s loss to the Jets while the Titans are in their own turmoil.

The QB situation of the Titans is in flux but the Texans have a more stable QB in Matt Schaub and are the better team at home.

Pick: Houston 28, Tennessee 20

St. Louis at Denver, 4:15 pm Sunday:

The Broncos looked bad against the Chargers on Monday night and the Rams are a good team considering their youth.

But the Broncos are too experienced and too explosive offensive at home for the Rams despite the overachieving we’ve seen from Sam Bradford as a rookie in 2010 for St. Louis.

NFL Picks Week 12 Winner: Denver (-4)
