October 10, 2010
The Bills and Jaguars have both become AFC afterthoughts early in the season, but NFL picks fans are now paying more attention to the Jags after last week’s upset over Indianapolis.

NFL Picks Betting Line: Buffalo favored at -1 ½
It’s hard to imagine the winless Bills as a favorite in the football picks against a team that just beat Peyton Manning and company, but it is indeed true.
Buffalo has problems at quarterback yet again but CJ Spiller, a rookie out of Clemson, has given many hope with his prowess as a return man and big-play potential on offense as a running back as well.
But the Jaguars aren’t likely to give up a whole lot of yards on the ground this week.

With the offense being average for much of the year, the Jags’ offensive output is a question mark this week as well against a somewhat underrated Bills defense.
The Bills can make games ugly and the Jaguars have a hard time winning those kinds of games when the offense is not in a rhythm.
The football picks chorus for this week is that the Bills don’t deserve to be favored over an obviously-superior team, however.
While playmakers like Mike Sims-Walker and co. have let the Jags down oftentimes this year, Maurice Jones-Drew will be the best player on the field on Sunday for the NFL picks underdog Jaguars.
If Jones-Drew gets into any kind of rhythm on the ground the Bills will be helpless to stop him, and that’s what gives Jacksonville fans hope that their squad can pull out the victory on Sunday.
Jack del Rio is just 3-3 vs. the hapless Bills in his career and the Bills want this one more, but the Jaguars are simply the better team and that counts for a lot against a Bills team that has developed a losing mentality.
NFL picks: Go with the Jaguars at +1
