NFL Picks For Week 2
September 14, 2010
I know you made some big-time money in Week One because there is no way you missed my picks during the week. But just in case you missed them, now I offer you my NFL Picks for Week 2 for you to cash in a lot and start living this season as it should be.
Pittsburgh (1-0, Road: 0-0) 1:00 pm EDT
Tennessee (1-0, Home: 1-0) CBS
It is hard to believe that Chris Johnson and the Titans are going to run the ball like they did against the Raiders, but CJ should still make some pints for his fantasy owners. I don’t think that under Dennis Dixon the Steelers could win at LP Field.
You have to understand that this is going to be a low-scoring game, especially considering that these two teams love to run the ball and are not quite spectacular on offense.
Pittsburgh Steelers +5.5
Tennessee Titans -5.5
O/U 37
My pick: Titans will win this game, but take the Steelers and the points.

Kansas City (1-0, Road: 0-0) 1:00 pm EDT
Cleveland (0-1, Home: 0-0) CBS
This is a pretty good line if you ask me. After what the Chiefs showed on defense, they are +2 against the Cleveland Browns; I know they didn’t look good on offense and barely converted one of 11 in third downs, but considering that Jake “Mistake” Delhomme is the opponent, I’ll take them gladly.
Kansas City Chiefs +2
Cleveland Browns -2
O/U 38
My pick: Take the Chiefs and the points.
Houston (1-0, Road: 0-0) 4:15 pm EDT
Washington (1-0, Home: 1-0) CBS
Both teams had amazing wins in Week One, but I think you can’t really rely on the Redskins just yet. I mean, they will better every week, but they are not at that top level yet.
Houston’s offense found some versatility with Arian Foster running the ball, so this means they now can disguise the pass and will be really hard to stop.
Houston Texans -3.5
Washington Redskins -3.5
O/U 44
My pick: Take the Texans to cover.
New England (1-0, Road: 0-0) 4:15 pm EDT
NY Jets (0-1, Home: 0-1) CBS
Last season, Brady and the Pats lost against the Jets, but it wasn’t because Mark Sanchez or the offense, but because their defense. To be honest, after watching how they played on Monday night, I don’t know how they are going to stop Brady and that Patriots offense.
I guess what I’m saying is that big mouth Rex Ryan is going to be 0-2 after this Sunday.
My pick: Take the Pats to cover.
