NFL Picks for Week 11 – Kansas City at Denver

November 13, 2010

The AFC West is probably full of the most teams that hate each other, and the NFL betting picks rivalry game between Denver and KC certainly features two of those teams.

These two teams have a healthy dislike for each other but that makes for a good, well-played game despite some of the dirtiness that has a tendency to go on in these kinds of games.

Who will come out on top in the Mile High City?

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
4:05 pm Sunday

NFL betting line:

KC favored at -1 ½

At 2-6 the Broncos are one of the most disappointing teams in the AFC if not the entire NFL.

But the Chiefs are one of the most pleasant surprises on their side of things with a 5-3 record.

The Chiefs also have the top rushing game in the NFL behind Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones in the backfield and a strong, mobile offensive line.

The NFL picks underdog Broncos have the 31st-ranked rushing defense as well.

Football picks fans know they play better at home, however, and know they’re a better team than what they’ve showed on defense.

However, the Chiefs are only 1-3 on the road SU this season losing games that many people believed they should win.

This game will come down to whether or not the Broncos can stop the run.

While the stats are against them, they are playing a Chiefs team that simply hasn’t played well on the road this season and are coming off of a bye week with a chance to get things fixed.

If the Broncos can improve just a little bit in the run game on defense and get a good day out of Knowshon Moreno at home, which they have at times this year, they are more than capable of pulling the upset behind their underrated passing game.

Denver is a tough team to figure but the Chiefs are a proven underachiever on the road making an upset win here for the Broncos a strong possibility this Sunday.

NFL picks winner: Denver Broncos (+1 ½)
