NFL Parlay Picks – Bet on a 3-Team Parlay in the Sportsbook for Week 15
December 15, 2010
Besides making individual wagers on teams to win against the spread in Week 15, football handicappers should also make Week 15 NFL parlay picks.
I always prefer to bet a parlay using 3 or 4 teams that I know for sure that I’m going to back in the sportsbook to cover the spread in their individual games. The beauty of a parlay is that although the risk of winning a parlay is higher than winning an individual game, the payout can be much greater. What it means is that football bettors don’t have to put as much money into a parlay bet as they would putting into an individual bet.

I’m going to go ahead and bet a 3-team parlay with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders. My 3-team NFL parlay picks wager pays 6/1.
NFL 3-Team Parlay Bet
All Games on Dec. 19th
Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 pm EST
New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens at 1:00 pm EST
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders at 4:15 pm EST
Jacksonville Jaguars +4 ½ vs. Indianapolis Colts - - I love the Jags to simply run Indianapolis into the ground in this game. As good as the Colts looked versus the Tennessee Titans last week in a 31 to 28 victory, the Jags looked even better versus the Oakland Raiders. Jacksonville’s rushing attack averages 157.2 yards per game while the Colts’ rush D gives up an incredible 141.1 yards per game. Peyton Manning will have success throwing the ball versus the Jaguars’ secondary but Jacksonville should be able to control the clock with their running attack and, for some reason, the Jags always play the Colts tough in Indy. The Jags are 5 and 1 against the spread in the last 6 meetings between these 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Jacksonville definitely belongs as part of my 3-team NFL parlay picks wager.
New Orleans Saints +2 ½ vs. Baltimore Ravens – - Baltimore’s D can’t be happy about facing one of the fastest and best offenses in the NFL only 6 days after playing in an overtime game versus the Houston Texans. Baltimore did win that game, 34 to 28, but they yielded 489 total yards to the Texans while their own offense produced only 253 total yards. The Saints average close to 400 yards and 25 points per game. Their defense is ranked 6th in the NFL. I’m confused as to why New Orleans is even the dog in this one, but why complain? I’ll just add N’Awlins onto my 3-team NFL parlay picks wager for this Sunday.
Oakland Raiders -6 ½ vs. Denver Broncos - – The Raiders are the 3rd best rushing team in the NFL. They average 149.3 yards per game on the ground. The Raiders’ offense as a whole averages 349.1 yards per game and scores 24.2 points per game. The last time these two teams played, Oakland beat Denver 59 to 14. The Broncos’ D is so awful that it allowed the Arizona Cardinals, with their 31st ranked offense and a starting QB named John Skelton, to rack up 43 points and 357 total yards, including 211 yards on the ground, against them this past Sunday. The Raiders should be able to cover this spread with ease and are a must inclusion for my NFL parlay picks wager.
3-Team NFL Parlay: Jacksonville +4 ½, New Orleans +2 ½, Oakland -6 ½
$100 = $600 (profit)
