NFL Parlay Picks – Bears and Saints Lead Off Week 13 ‘4X4’ of Pro Football Picks

December 3, 2010

The red-hot Chicago Bears and streaking New Orleans Saints head up my four-pack of NFL Parlay Picks in which I will point avid BetOnline pro football gamblers in the right direction toward making several potentially bankroll-boosting wagers in the bettor-friendly BetOnline Football Sportsbook.

Okay gridiron gamblers, with that said, let me get started.

Bears at Lions 1:00 PM ET
NFL Odds: N/A

Prediction: While there are no odds listed for this matchup as of just yet, I suspect the Chicago Bears (8-3 SU, 6-4-1 ATS) are going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-point road favorites against their young division rivals.

Chicago looked fantastic in beating Philly 31-26 in Week 12 while the Detroit Lions (2-9 SU, 7-4 ATS) got absolutely hammered in its 45-24 Thanksgiving day loss to New England.

The Bears average three fewer points per game than the Lions, but they are also playing ‘lights out’ football at the moment and allow 10 fewer points per game than Detroit.

If the spread stays under seven (7) points, I say play the Bears to cash in as part of these NFL parlay picks with the greatest of ease!

NFL Picks: Chicago Bears 28 Lions 17

Saints at Bengals 1:00 PM ET
Paul Brown Stadium

NFL Odds

New Orleans Saints -6.5
Over/Under 45.5

Prediction: The New Orleans Saints (8-3 SU, 5-6 ATS) have won four straight games but has to hustle late to squeak out a narrow 30-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12.

The Saints failed to cash in against the NFL Odds as a 4.5-point road favorite to snap its modest three-game ATS winning streak.

The Cincinnati Bengals (2-9 SU, 3-8 ATS)have lost eight straight games including its 26-10 loss against the Jets on Thanksgiving Day while failing to cash in against the NFL Odds as a 9.5-point road underdog to fall to 0-2 ATS over the last two games and 1-7 ATS over the last eight games overall.

I’m shocked the spread is so low here, but I’ll take the easy pick here and play the Saints to cash in as part of my NFL Parlay Picks.

NFL Picks: New Orleans Saints -6.5 Points

49ers at Packers 1:00 PM ET
Lambeau Field

NFL Odds

Green Bay Packers -9.5
Over/Under 41

Prediction: The San Francisco 49ers (4-7 SU, 4-7 ATS) have won three of its last four games, including a convincing 27-6 win over Arizona in Week 12 that helped them cash in against the spread as a 1-point road favorite and snap a two game ATS losing streak.

The Green Bay Packers (7-4 SU, 6-5 ATS) lost a heartbreaker to the Atlanta Falcons last week, falling 20-17 to snap its four-game SU and ATS winning streak.

Green Bay averages a touchdown more per game than the Niners while also allowing five fewer points per contest defensively for a 12-point scoring differential over the offensively-challenged 49ers.

Play the Packers to cash in as part of my NFL Parlay Picks as they have compiled an impressive 4-1-1 ATS mark against the Niners in their last half-dozen meeting in Green Bay and will win this one by double digits.

NFL Picks: Green Bay Packers -9.5 Points

Panthers at Seahawks 4:15 PM ET
Qwest Field

NFL Odds

Seattle Seahawks -6
Over/Under 40

Prediction: The Carolina Panthers (1-10 SU, 3-8 ATS) have lost 10 consecutive games including a heartbreaking 24-23 loss to Cleveland in Week 12.

The good news for betting buffs that like to back the Panthers is the fact that the reeling franchise managed to snap its four-game ATS losing streak by covering the spread as a 9-point road underdog.

The Seattle Seahawks (5-6 SU, 5-6 ATS) have lost two straight to fall under .500 and will be looking to bounce back from its emphatic 42-24 loss to Kansas City in Week 12.

Seattle got two TD passes from Matt Hasselbeck in the win, but the veteran also hurt his team by tossing two interceptions in the loss as the Seahawks failed to cash in against the spread as a 1-point home underdog.

Outside of the fact that the Panthers are averaging just 6.3 points per game less than Seattle, I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to pick the Carolina Panthers to cash in against the spread in this one.

Still, I’ve got the funniest feeling that the Panthers are about ready to win a game after fighting the Browns really hard a week ago and walking away with nothing to show for their efforts.

Carolina has compiled an impressive 10-4 ATS mark in its last 14 games against a team with a losing home record while Seattle has gone 2-5 ATS against a team with a losing record.

Add it all up and it sounds like the Panthers will get the ATS cover while pushing the Seahawks for the outright road win as the final leg of my 4X4 of NFL Parlay Picks.

NFL Picks: Carolina Panthers +6 Points
