The Giants have beaten the Redskins four straight times and Washington is struggling entering this contest, losing three of its last four games including 1-3 ATS as NFL odds underdogs. New York rallied in the fourth quarter last week on this field to defeat Jacksonville 24-20 as quarterback Eli Manning directed a pair of long touchdown drives in victory.

But Washington lacks a good running game to take advantage, and this week will suit up a third and fourth string running back with Ryan Torain expected to miss this contest. The Giants have one of the NFL’s top defenses statistically, allowing 286 yards per game to rank #2 in the NFL. The yards per play defenses show a clear advantage to the Giants, who allow 4.8 yards per play to 5.9 yards per play for the Redskins; the NFC’s worst defense that also allows nearly 401 yards per game.
