Houston Texans -3

Last season, the Texans had the NFL’s best passing offense, led by the chemistry between quarterback Matt Schaub and all-pro wide receiver Andre Johnson.
This season, Houston has not strayed away from its pass-heavy mentality. They remain one of the NFL’s elite passing offenses with 604 aerial yards in just two games.
Matt Schaub should find plenty of holes in Big D’s slow pass defense that has allowed an average of 225 passing yards per game (20th in the league).
Although the Texans run offense was not very effective a year ago, this NFL betting season is proving to be quite different. An emerging star in Arian Foster has carried one of the worst run offenses to the top of the NFL.
With Foster as their starter, the Texans have swiftly become the league’s best rushing team, averaging 157.5 ground yards per game. In just two games, Arian Foster has 300 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Cowboys offense seems to have its own issues at the start of this NFL Sports betting season.
Even with one of the best receiving groups at his disposal, quarterback Tony Romo is still having trouble converting on third down. He is just 9-for-19 on third down this season with an interception.
Dallas rushing offense attack may be the main reason for the lack of production. The Cowboys rank 28th in the league with less than 70 yards on the ground per game.
Lead tailback Marion Barber has totaled just 70 yards in the first two games this NFL betting season.
It doesn’t look like Barber will suddenly break out this week either, playing the Texans run defense which has allowed just 31 rushing yards per game this NFL betting season.
NFL Betting Expert Pick: Houston Texans (-3).
