NFL Betting Advice Says, ‘No Rodgers, No Chance’ For Pack to Beat Pats

December 17, 2010

There’s a reason there aren’t any pro football odds surrounding Sunday’s Week 15 matchup between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots BetOnline gridiron gamblers.

That’s because it doesn’t take any NFL betting advice to know that if Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t play –then his Packers team stands absolutely no chance of upsetting Tom Brady and the red-hot New England Patriots when the two teams take to the gridiron at Gillette Stadium at 1:00 PM ET.

NFL Betting Odds: N/A

Green Bay 411

Green Bay (8-5 SU, 7-6 ATS, 4-9 O/U)saw Rodgers go down with a concussion in its dismal 7-3 road loss against the Lions in their Week 14 NFC North divisional battle.

The Packers failed to cash in as a 7-point road favorite while playing Under the set O/U Total for the third time in its last four games.

New England 411

New England (11-2 SU, 8-4-1 ATS, 11-2 O/U)has won five straight games, including its 36-7 rout over the Chicago bears in their Week 14 matchup to cash in against the NFL betting advice odds as a 3-point road favorite to move to 3-0 ATS over its last three games.

Prediction: The New England Patriots have scored at least 31 points in each of their last five games while topping the 40-point plateau in two of those contests.

If Aaron Rodgers somehow manages to play for the Packers in this matchup, the Packers will lose by somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-10 points. If Rodgers doesn’t play, the Packers lose by two touchdowns or more.

If a point spread does become available for kickoff time, just remember my NFL betting advice on what could potentially be a Super Bowl XLV preview.
