NFC Division Picks – NFL Betting
August 3, 2010
With a month left before the start the 2010 NFL season, it’s time to check and bet the NFL betting futures, namely which team will win every division in the NFC.
NFL betting fans should consider that a lot, and I mean a LOT, of changes from one year to another, so don’t fall in love with the 2009 stats or highlights.

Here are my picks:
NFC South Odds
- New Orleans Saints -150
- Atlanta Falcons +200
- Carolina Panthers +600
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2000
Every single thing went their way last year; I don’t expect this to keep going.
The Saints are the favorites but I don’t like the Super Bowl hangover at all.
The Falcons looked good last season against the Saints so I am leaning on that and on the fact that both Matt Ryan and Michael Turner will be healthy this season.
My pick: Bet Atlanta +200, they are a better pay than the Saints.
NFC East Odds
- Dallas Cowboys +125
- Philadelphia Eagles +270
- New York Giants +275
- Washington Redskins +550
Leave the Eagles and the Redskins out of this. This is a fight between the Cowboys and the Giants.
To me, the Boys are the best bet here, as they have a great offense with a strong defense as well as a true passing game that complements itself with the running game.
Maybe Dallas is not ready for a Super Bowl shot, but they are ready to win the NFC East.
My pick: Bet the Cowboys +125
NFC West Odds
- Arizona Cardinals +250
- San Francisco 49ers -110
- Seattle Seahawks +275
- St Louis Rams +1500
This division is the 49ers to lose, it’s that simple.
San Francisco will play old-fashion football, running the ball and defending aggressively when the opponent has the ball.
The 49ers are the better team especially considering that the Cardinals don’t have a great quarterback and the Seahawks have a new coach with new ideas to adjust.
My pick: Bet the 49ers -110
*NFC North odds are not available because nobody knows who will be the QB for the Vikings!
