NCAAF Betting Tips – Wildcats expose themselves to the Beavers

October 9, 2010

Sometimes the NCAAF Betting Tips don’t have to do so much with how strong the play is, but how weak or overrated the team you’re making a college football bet against is.

Arizona will be out of the top 25 way before Halloween. The Beavers are not a strong team either, but they’re plus 8½ points against the Wild Kitties.

Oregon State Beavers (2-2) at #9 Arizona Wildcats (4-0) – Saturday, Oct. 9 at 7:00 ET VER-TV

Arizona is coming off a bye week after squeezing by California in an uneventful game 10-9. I would expect to see them leaving the top 10 soon and top 25 within 3 weeks.

The Wildcats defense is what has helped them cloak their real existence this year. The reality is that the Iowa Hawkeyes got beat by a circus show.

The first half Wildcats blocked a punt to set up their first score, Travis Cobb returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and Trevin Wade ran an interception back 85 yards for another score. Iowa dominated second half 20-6 after the clowns left, but it wasn’t enough.

Nick Foles first career start was last year against the Beavers for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 37-32 win. He is now 10-4 as a starter and has demonstrated his cool under pressure and time constraints more than once.

Arizona deserves credit for being 2nd nationally in total defense. I just don’t buy it all, and this will all even itself out to truth within 2 or 3 weeks max. I’m just trying to give you NCAAF Betting Tips before they happen, and they are going down, down all the way down.

Oregon State has the Rodgers brothers looking to show the Wildcats the superiority of Beavers. James Rodgers is expected to be back after a concussion against Boise State 2 weeks ago kept him out last week. He had 119 receiving yards and 116 return yards in a loss to Arizona last year that he is ready to avenge.

Jacquizz Rodgers had 85 yards on 16 carries and 2 TDs against Arizona last year. The Beavers can’t wait to give the Wildcats a Rodgers sandwich with monster statistics.

Sophomore QB Ryan Katz is now rollin’ and I’ve seen this guy go for days like this. He was 19 for 29 for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns and he was missing his top guy James Rodgers. Katz makes due with the players around him, and he is the king of rallying the troops believe me.

Watch the explosion when Katz gets his wing man back and has someone to help show Arizona it’s all about the Beavers. The Wildcats are in for a show that will have them worn down by mid 4th quarter.

The problem with the Beavers is their lack of offense. This may confuse Arizona by overplaying what they think is speed or skill, but in reality is slow and rudimentary. Follow my NCAAF Betting Tips that the Wildcats will show their true colors and give it up to the Beavers this game.

I believe I have made it clear where I stand on this game by now. It’s obvious that one of your College Football Bets should be taking Oregon State PLUS 8½ points against a team going down.

This may surprise you, but the riskiest of my NCAAF Betting Tips is to make a play (not a huge one) on the Moneyline on Oregon State +270, and make a small donation of your winnings to a veteran or veteran organization; see I’m EZ.
