NCAAF Betting Tips – Can Michigan and Mr. Robinson get a Blowout?

September 24, 2010

NCAAF Betting Tips involve looking for football teams like Michigan due for a letdown. These tips involve research by looking at teams like the Wolverines that are barely winning games. They also involve searching out high profile teams that tend to be overvalued like Michigan.

The only problem here is that all of these principles should have been applied last week. The question I’m going to answer for you here is if you can apply them again this week and against which team.

Bowling Green (1-2) at Michigan (3-0) – Saturday, Sep. 25 at 12:00 ET ESPN2/ESPN3
Michigan Stadium (109,901) – Ann Arbor, Michigan

NCAA Betting Lines:
Bowling Green (3-0-0 ATS) +25 ½
Michigan (2-1-0 ATS) -25 ½

Bowling Green comes into Michigan after an upset over Marshall last week, and Michigan is coming off a near miss after a 4th quarter lay down last week.

Michigan is 26-1 against MAC opponents and is coming off an embarrassing near loss to FCS program UMass at home last week. They dominated the game and were up 18 points going into the 4th quarter before clinging to a 42-37 squeaker.

They were coming off an emotional last minute defeat of Notre Dame the week before, so NCAAF Betting Tips analysis knew a comedown was expected. There won’t be any setback this week unless you’re a Bowling Green fan.

The Falcons upset Marshall as a 3-point dog last week, so they aren’t always a pushover. They intercepted Marshall’s Brian Anderson four times returning two for touchdowns. That isn’t going to happen again, but the Wolverines don’t want to lose the turnover battle which would be the only chance this game is ever in jeopardy of a loss.

Matt Schilz was doing a good job running this bomber offense for the Falcons; however, he was replaced with sophomore Aaron Pankratz who was 5 of 8 for 111 yards and a touchdown after a shoulder injury in the third quarter. Schilz is expected to be out for this Saturday’s game at Michigan, and don’t expect Aaron to keep his cool coming into this hostile stadium.

Bowling Green is giving up 465 yards of offense per game, so watch out for the Denard Robinson show. They even gave up 376 yards in a win last week against Marshall that had some major defensive scoring help by Bowling Green’s defense.

Mr. Robinson is definitely gonna eat. Denard Robinson is currently the Betting favorite to win the Heisman trophy at Bet US with Betting Odds of +250. He just can’t get any better than his 559 yards rushing and 671 yards passing in 3 games my friends.

My NCAAF Betting Tips for the week include waiting to bet Denard Robinson winning the Heisman. This is simply because that line will go nowhere but up if you are into getting a bigger bang for your buck.

The question here isn’t can Michigan can score enough points. The question here is how many points will Bowling Green score. The question here isn’t whether or not Michigan is ready for a letdown, but when were they ready for a letdown?

Michigan already had their letdown last week after that epic finish against Notre Dame two weeks ago. The letdown is OVER. The only anticlimax here will be for Bowling Green coming off their upset last week. The Wolverines are going to MAC down on some Falcon stew this week.

NCAAF Betting Tips:

Wait to Bet Denard Robinson to win the Heisman Trophy. Those odds will only get better for the Bettor.

Bet Michigan -25 ½ right NOW! Don’t wait for that line to go up. Your bank account will do that.
