Texas: -11 ½

Oklahoma: +11 ½

The first half of the Big XII Betting action comes to us from Oklahoma, where the Red River Rivalry hits the hardwood. But with the way the Texas Longhorns are playing, can the Sooners even keep things close?

It’ll be tough with the way Texas is playing, as the Longhorns enter this one having won eight in a row, and have gone 7-1 against the spread during that stretch as well. Saturday’s win against Texas Tech was no different. The Longhorns blitzed Texas Tech from start to finish, taking a 16 point halftime lead, before easing up in the second half and ultimately winning 76-60. Gary Johnson, Jordan Hamilton and Tristan Thompson combined for 43 points in the front-court.

And truth be told, we can’t see Oklahoma hanging tough in the NCAAB Bets here. The Sooners are a mentally tough team, but one that just doesn’t score a lot enough to play with a team as deep and talented as Texas. Oklahoma averages just 68 points per game, which ranks them 210th nationally. For comparison’s sake, Texas is No. 36 nationally in scoring.

In the end, the Longhorns simply have too much firepower for Oklahoma to keep things tight. Texas should cruise to an NCAAB Bets victory here.

NCAAB Bets Pick: Texas -11 ½

No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies (17-5 SU, 7-6-1 ATS) at Colorado Buffaloes (15-9 SU, 9-8 ATS)

Wednesday, February 9: 9:00 p.m. ESPNU

Betting Odds:

Texas A&M: +3

Colorado: -3

Next up, we head to lovely Boulder, CO where two struggling teams will get together for a night cap.

And struggling is the operative word here, especially for Texas A&M. Don’t let that 17-6 record fool you, as they’re 0-3 in their last three games, and have gone just 1-4 over their last five. For the Aggies, it all starts on offense, where they’ve been atrocious, averaging just 57 points per game in their last three.

And while A&M comes in with the lofty ranking, it’s actually the Buffaloes that should be your NCAAB Betting pick here.

Yes Colorado’s record isn’t that glamorous, and yes, like the Aggies, they’re struggling with five losses in their last six games. But Colorado is a different team on their home-court, as they’re 6-1 against the spread, and have already racked up victories against Oklahoma State and Missouri. They also played Kansas tough just a few weeks ago, losing 82-78 in Boulder against the No. 2 team in the country.

In the end, these two team’s records aren’t nearly indicative of how they’re playing right now. Texas A&M can’t score enough to beat anyone, let alone a conference rival, in a tough road venue.

Take Colorado as the second half of your NCAAB Bets on Wednesday night. You won’t be disappointed.
