March 17, 2011
Are you ready for some NCAA Tournament Online Betting?
I am BetOnline collegiate hardwood bettors and I’m already off to a perfect start after four games!
After nailing each one of my ‘First Four’ selections over the past two days, BetOnline basketball betting enthusiasts should know that I am prepared to go ‘all the way’ with my 2011 NCAA Tournament picks in the value-packed BetOnline basketball sportsbook.
Having said that, let me also throw in the fact that BetOnline collegiate hardwood gamblers can make several more potentially, bankroll-boosting NCAA Tournament bets by wagering on the value-packed NCAA Tournament online betting regional futures odds in the BetOnline basketball sportsbook.
Here is a look at the top four favorites in each region, followed by my handicapping analysis.
East Region
No. 1 Ohio State +120
No.3 Syracuse +450
No. 2 North Carolina +450
No. 4 Kentucky +450
Analysis: I’ve got the top-seeded Buckeyes winning this region for BetOnline NCAA Tournament online betting buffs by beating No. 3 Syracuse in the regional finals – if they can get past Kentucky in their likely regional semifinals pairing that is.
West Region
No. 1 Duke +115
No. 2 San Diego State +375
No. 4 Texas +400
No. 3 UConn +425
Analysis: Texas is talented but far too inconsistent for my taste. UConn lives and dies far too much on Kemba Walker’s performances and the Duke Blue Devils have a bull’s-eye the size of Montana on their collective backs, not to mention the fact that they’re painfully thin on the bench. Maybe it’s me, but I love the San Diego Aztecs in a big way in this region.
Southeast Region
No.1 Pittsburgh +125
No. 2 Florida +300
No. 3 BYU +750
No. 4 Wisconsin +800
Analysis: Pittsburgh is my pick to win this region BetOnline NCAA Tournament online betting fanatics, but I will say that I’m most worried by Wisconsin first and foremost – not to mention the fifth-seeded K-State Wildcats who I have facing Pitt in the regional semis. I think Florida’s lack of maturity will hold them back at some point while BYU’s foolish move to boot freshman forward Brandon Davies sunk the Cougars’ legitimate chances to reach the Final Four.
Southwest Region
No. 1 Kansas +115
No.2 Notre Dame +300
No. 3 Purdue +425
No. 4 Louisville +500
Analysis: In the Southwest Region, I have Kansas as King, but they’ll have to likely get past both, Louisville and Purdue to get out of the region, which is no small task.
I won’t want to rule out Notre Dame and their stellar online NCAA Tournament betting odds in this region, but I’m worried about them possibly stumbling against the athletic Florida State Seminoles should they meet.
