NCAA Football Game Betting – Best Wagers Can’t Include Auburn vs. Chattanooga

November 4, 2010

The #2 Auburn Tigers get an NCAA football game betting freebie on Nov. 6th because they take on Chattanooga.

The Chattanooga Mocs are a sub-division team and although the sportsbook might set a betting line, it’s doubtful that it’s going to attract gamblers.

So, instead of going through the rigmarole of handicapping a game between the #2 ranked team in the BCS and a 5 and 3 squad from the Southern Division, that lost to Elon by the score of 49 to 35 in its last, I’m going to go ahead and list my best NCAA football game betting wagers for Week 10.

Best Week 10 NCAA Football Game Betting Wagers

#13 Arizona +9 ½ vs. #12 Stanford – - Stanford is a very good team and they do take on the Wildcats at home but the Wildcats Nick Foles has turned into a dynamite passer and Arizona might have a better defense than Stanford has.

Since losing to Washington State, ‘Zona has really put the clamps down defensively and have outscored their last 3 opponents 97 to 42. The ‘Cats should keep this game within the number.

Fresno State -1 vs. Louisiana Tech – - Last year this game was very close with the Fresno State Bulldogs barely beating L. Tech 30 to 28, but…really? Louisiana Tech?

Yes, Fresno State is 2-4-1 ATS on the season and Louisiana Tech has covered in 4 out of their last 5 games, but the NCAA football game betting odds makers must be out of their minds if they don’t believe that Fresno State will win this game by more than a point.

Fresno State is just the better team and Louisiana Tech faced Boise State in their last.

#7 Wisconsin -20 vs. Purdue – - The Badgers are riding a 3 game winning streak, including victories over Ohio State and at Iowa, going into their game versus the Purdue Boilermakers.

Wisconsin might be the best team in the Big Ten and beat Purdue 37 to 0 in 2009. What has changed in 2010? Well, the Boilermakers are worse this season. They have been outscored 93 to 10 in their last 2 games versus Ohio State and Illinois.

Penn State -5 ½ vs. Northwestern – - Penn State was great beating Michigan last Saturday as home dogs and there is a chance that the Nittany Lions could “bounce” this week versus the Northwestern Wildcats, but I don’t think so.

Northwestern ran up a 5 and 0 record by beating up on Vanderbilt, Central Michigan, Illinois State, Rice and Minnesota. They actually lost to Purdue and you know how much I respect the Boilermakers.

I just don’t see the Wildcats sticking with Penn State at Beaver Stadium and I believe that the Nittany Lions are one of the best NCAA football game betting teams to back in the sportsbook this Saturday.

Make sure to log onto the sportsbook and bet on Week 10 NCAAF games!
