Indiana Pacers (26-32) at Oklahoma City Thunder (36-22)
Where: Ford Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
When: 8:00 pm EST
NBA Odds: Oklahoma City -7
Analysis: The trends are all over Oklahoma City in this contest. The Indiana Pacers are 1 and 6 against the NBA odds spread in their last 7 games. They’re 2 and 10 against the spread in their last 12 games after playing on 0 days of rest. The Oklahoma City Thunder is 9 and 3 ATS in their last 12 home games versus a team with a losing road record, but the real reason to like OKC is because they’ve lost 3 games in a row, to San Antonio 105 to 109, Orlando 88 to 111 and the Los Angeles Lakers 87 to 90. Oklahoma City is too good of a team to lose 4 games in a row. They’re also too good of a team not to pretty much blow out Indiana on March 2. Durant and Russell Westbrook will be lighting it up as soon as they tip the ball off in this contest.
Portland Trailblazers (33-26) at Sacramento Kings (15-43)
Where: Arco Arena, Sacramento, California
When: 10:00 pm EST
NBA Odds: Portland -3 ½
Analysis: Some online NBA betting handicappers might give the Kings a shot against the spread in this game. Sacramento is 5 and 2 ATS in their last 7 home games, but the trends clearly favor the ‘Blazers on Wednesday. Portland is 4 and 0 in the last 4 meetings between these two in Arco Arena. The Trailblazers are also 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 games versus a team with a home winning percentage of less than .400 and 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games on the road versus a team with a losing home record. Bottom line? Portland is just better than the Sacramento Kings. They’ll put a beat down on SAC on March 2.
Houston Rockets (30-31) at Los Angeles Clippers (21-40)
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California
When: 10:30 pm EST
Fair NBA Odds: Clippers +3 ½
Analysis: Man, the Los Angeles Griffins have been absolutely horrific against the NBA spread in the sportsbook lately! The Clipps are 3 and 7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. They’re 1 and 6 ATS in their last 7 games playing on a single day of rest, but I’ve got the feeling that LAC comes up big on Wednesday night. The Clippers are 9 and 2 against the spread in their last 11 home games and 7 and 1 against the spread in their last 8 home games versus a team with a losing road record. There are some nice trends regarding Houston in this contest, like the fact that the Rockets are 5 and 1 ATS in their last 6 road games, but I’ve got to stick with Blake and Co. Griffin should dominate in the paint and guard Mo Williams should be more comfortable with the offense. I’ll back LAC.
